  • How can I remove white stains from a black vanity?

I have a black vanity with a glass bowl sink. The black top of the vanity has white stains from the foaming soap we use as well as water. Any advice to remove these is appreciated! I've tried Mr. Clean Magic Erasers and bartender's friend so far.

  • Advice on getting a puppy/ dog?

My boyfriend and I are looking at getting a puppy or a dog. However, the main problem is that we both leave for work really early in the AM-I'm gone by 3:00am and he is gone by 5:30am. I get back home around 2pm or so and he is back by 3:30pm. I am just worried how we would be able to potty train or have a dog if they have to be cooped up for so long!

I am off Weds and he has every weekend off, so those days are not really issues.

I would really like a dog but I would just like some advice on how we could work on the training issues.

    Thanks!

  • Where can I buy the new Evans Blue CD?

Evans Blue had a new CD that came out in late June, but I can't find it! Is it only available on Itunes? I tried Best Buy, Target and Amazon...I really love the song "Sick of It" and want the CD--the real CD, not just a download! Thanks in advance for any help!

  • Pros/ Cons of a garbage disposal?

My boyfriend and I are buying our first house and we will have a garbage disposal in the kitchen sink. What are some pros and cons of having one? What can we put down there? Also, what purpose do they serve exactly? I've lived the first 26 years of my life without one and I'm curious if they are really that handy.

  • Scrubs Season 3 Question?

I was just watching the episode of Scrubs where Dr. Cox's best friend (played by Brandon Fraser) died and I was wondering who sings the song at the end when JD and Dr. Cox are at the funeral?

Some of the lyrics say something like: "I will remember..." but I don't remember much more. Thanks in advance!

  • Can anyone give me advice on how to iron correctly?

I am not very fond of ironing, but of course I need to do it for my nice button-up work shirts. Can anyone give me advice on how to iron a long-sleeve or 3/4-sleeve button-up shirt? What part should I start with? How should I use the ironing board? Thanks for any help you can give!

  • How is the new game Sims Life Stories?

I love the Sims 2, have all the expansions, but I was curious if anyone has played Life Stories and if it is any good.

By the way, I bought Sims 2 for PS2 and absolutely hated it, so if it's anything like that, I wouldn't be a fan. Thanks!

  • I want some opinions about this situation.?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 7 years. Really long story short, some of our "friends" (a few of whom were some of our best friends) "pieced it together" and accused my guy of cheating on me with another friend of ours. I know for a fact my guy is not cheating, but this has caused a rift between my guy and the friends who started all these rumors. They haven't talked in several weeks, and my guy is waiting for an apology from these friends, but they are acting like nothing ever happened.

Now I feel like there are two sides, and we had all been a pretty close knit group before. What can I do to try to mend fences or just have some closure with this situation? Should I just ignore it? Has anyone else had a similar situation?

  • Does anyone know who the actress is from the RGX commercials?

This is driving me and my boyfriend crazy! Well, my guy wants to know more than me! LOL This girl from the RGX commercials looks familiar, but I can't figure out who she is. Here's the link to the commercial:

  • Does any one have recommendations for hair products?

I just had my hair layered and cut shoulder length. It has been full of static and will not lay flat. (I have been using Pantene, but it doesn't work well for my hair) I have very fine hair, so I would like something moisturizing, but not heavy, because that would weigh my hair down.

Does anyone have recommendations for shampoo/ conditioner and styling products? I blow dry my hair pretty much every day, too...

Also, can anyone recommend a good hairdryer? Price really doesn't matter, I just want stuff that works.

  • What should I do about this person who won't stop calling my cell?

So, this person will not stop calling my cell...they called once Fri night at 11pm and about 12 times tonight--they call and if I pick up, they yell at me (but not in English) so my friend, my cousin and my boyfriend have all answered the phone and said stuff to them, but they still called back! (No, its not one of my friends...I looked up the number and have the residental address of these people)

Everyone now says ignore it and they'll go away, but if this continues, what should I do? According to Cingular, I can't block a number from my cell...any advice?

  • How long can one expect to have a cast on a broken foot?

My mom broke her foot on Friday night, and she now has a temporary cast. (She might get a permanent cast, or keep this one, she has to go to the doctor this week.) I actually have never broke anything myself and no one else close to me has, either. I was just curious how long you would wear a cast on your foot. Thanks!

  • Can anyone help me find this mystery novel?

I read this novel maybe 10 years ago. It was set in a large city (I think Chicago or New York) in the late 1800s/ early 1900s and it was this huge mystery involving the lady of the house and her child who was born, but I think either died or was kidnapped. It was really interesting because the way the story unfolded, everyone in the story got drawn in. The maid and the midwife had something to do with the mystery...

Sorry to be so vague! Any helpful answers would be appreciated!

Or, could you recommend a mystery set in a historical setting (preferably the Victorian Era?) Thanks!!

  • Does anyone have a recipe for "cold rising" bread?

I had a recipe long ago where you put the bread in the fridge to rise instead of a warm spot. Any help would be appreciated!
