I still live with my dad and the only taxes I've had to pay is through earning money at work. I paid around two grand last year and I was wondering if I get the majority of it back.

So I have a 720p Toshiba from 2006 that has an hdmi port. I have been using it for the past 6 years for the same thing. All I use it for is gaming. I have owned various xbox 360's and I now have a PS3 slim that is a year old. It has always been as simple as plugging the cord into the TV and PS3 and switching to the HDMI input on my TV. I recently took my PS3 to a friend's house and plugged it into their Vizio with their HDMI cord. When I plugged it back in at home, my TV did not pick up any picture or sound on the HDMI setting. I didn't change any of the settings on my ps3 and my tv has had the same settings for the past 6 years. I tried to hook up the old standard av cables and that worked perfectly fine, but I can't stand playing standard def, especially on an hdtv. Every time I switch to hdmi, the screen just goes black. I tried my Sony Vaio pc as well and that didn't work either. Is it time for me to get a new tv, or can anyone help me solve this problem?

If you listen to a lot of depressing songs, this is for you! I'm currently working on making a compilation of bummer songs. I prefer them to be thought-provoking, but if the sound alone is depressing, that's still good. There don't even have to be words, I like instrumentals too. Also any film or video game scores work

I don't care if this has been asked. I constantly see people b*itching about how overrated Nirvana is. I'm not taking sides, I just want to know why people think they are so overrated? If they hadn't pretty much influenced the alternative rock boom, how much rock would be around today? I mean sure, there are a lot of stupid fanboys and fangirls who know like two songs by them and think they are cool for it, but besides that. Why don't they deserve the popularity?

I'm trying to get into a few artists, but I don't know where to start and right now I don't feel like listening to whole albums, so I just want a few songs to check out from each.

The first one is Frank Zappa. I have been having a lot of problems with him because he has so many f*cking albums and I don't really know where to start. I already like the songs "Bobby Brown Goes Down", "Catholic Girls", "Joe's Garage" and the album "Hot Rats". Just suggest me some other songs to check out.

Next is Modest Mouse. I like the albums "We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank" and "Good News For People Who Love Bad News", so please suggest me stuff from BEFORE 2004

Next, Frank Black/Black Francis. He had solo albums under both of those names as well as Frank Black and the Catholics. I literally have heard one or two songs from his solo career/after pixies, so just suggest me anything from that.

Lastly, suggest me any film SCORES that you enjoy.

I had an interview yesterday and the manager called me back today and said I got the job already. I'm guessing someone got fired or quit and they needed someone right away. I don't even remember what position I applied for, but it's not like there are that many different jobs there. The manager seems really cool and it's in an average town of about 10-15,000 people. I just want to know what the orientation was like, and whether it was an easy job and what experiences you had. I'm 16 and I need money for sh*t I don't need, so the minimum wage is that big of a deal for me. Is it hard to learn all the things you have to know? It's my first job.

I'm looking for some more obscure bands because I already know most of the more popular Indie. So I guess just some stuff like Noah & the Whale, Other Lives, Liars, and Vetiver

I basically want to start getting into different kinds of metal. I am a huge fan of thrash already, but I really only listen to Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest. So please suggest me some other good thrash metal especially stuff that is fairly new). I also like a couple nu metal bands like Disturbed, System Of a Down, and Chevelle. I definitely do not want to hear any hardcore/screamo. I like a few Amon Amarth songs. I also like most 70's and 80's metal ranging from Black Sabbath to Twisted Sister. I am just trying to get into some different kinds of metal.

I am open to anything, but please suggest me some Black, Doom, Glam, Power, Progressive, and Thrash Metal

I know it's not really classical, but I don't know where else to post this. I'm just looking for some OSTs to listen to. Some of my favorites are Dexter, Inception, and 28 Days Later.

If I already have the original version of Fallout 3, will I have the same save file on the Game Of the Year Edition? I had all the dlc on xbox, but I have a PS3 now, so I'd be saving money by getting the GOTY edition. I just want to know if I would have to start a new game or can I continue off of the character from my original Fallout 3 save
