suggest some metal bands/genres?

I basically want to start getting into different kinds of metal. I am a huge fan of thrash already, but I really only listen to Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest. So please suggest me some other good thrash metal especially stuff that is fairly new). I also like a couple nu metal bands like Disturbed, System Of a Down, and Chevelle. I definitely do not want to hear any hardcore/screamo. I like a few Amon Amarth songs. I also like most 70's and 80's metal ranging from Black Sabbath to Twisted Sister. I am just trying to get into some different kinds of metal.

I am open to anything, but please suggest me some Black, Doom, Glam, Power, Progressive, and Thrash Metal

I'm not sure if you would like them, but listen to Papa Roach.

One of their songs, ...To be Loved: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZFPqNNvgDo

    Avenged Sevenfold is good, too.
