I know that there are people who have real inborn problems with metabolising it, and for them it is verboten, and thus the wide range of gluten free products available these days.

Why does red dye bleed out of clothing for so long? Other dark colors also bleed, so to speak, but after a couple of washes it stops.. I have this red sweater that still bleeds every time I wash it (by had, cold water) and I have it for years!
