My sister went to do something distracting. Paying taxes for deceased family members. It started to snow. She walked to Boston Market Fast Food, and got 2 shopping bags full along with her tote and umbrella. Called for a cab, put her cell phone in her coat pocket, and came home & then realized her pocketbook was missing. Hoping this was not true, she did nothing until I called the cab company who told me that the description she gave me to tell them of the driver was inaccurate. She said "A spanish female with blonde hair". He said he had only 1 driver that is female and she does not have blonde hair. Then I phoned the police who told me to call 911 but my sister said NO so she called the bank because she had her checkbook and her aunt's checkbook too. Drivers license, car keys, $400.00 credit cards, glasses, change purse, supermarket coupons, etc. When I phoned the cab company again at her urging, he told me that it was too soon. No one had told him about anything. She called the bank that told her they were cancelling the next 10 checks in succession & her credit cards.

About 10 pm the doorbell rang & it was a person I did not recognize. She said she wanted to see my sister & then told her "I was your cab driver". My sister said that she thought the pocketbook was looked thru, and she gave the woman $ for returning the pocketbook. End of story.

What should she have done after that? Since she didnt even get the person's name that returned it. The person stated that it was left in the cab.

I didnt plan on getting abducted and having my real family taken away from me.
