Seems like there were a few new ones then they went straight to re-runs.

I have tried Virus scan, no virus detected. I tried all the "help" from the help section. I rebooted, disconnected all devices, turned it off at the power source. When I start in safe mode, my husbands profile and Administrator are available, however mine is not. We normally use mine for everything. We upgraded our memory from 128 to two sticks of 512 each about a month or so ago. The computer has been running fine since. My husband was on the internet last night when I went to bed and is at work now, so I don't know what may have happened. When I tried to boot up this morning, Windows XP acts like it's starting then takes me to a page that gives me options of starting in Normal mode, safe mode, etc. The only ones that work are the safe mode options. How does this affect my PC and what I can do?

I have 2 family members coming to visit me. I live 1500 miles from most of my family. They are coming at different times. Of course they want to see the sites, etc. I am currently saving all my extra money for a family trip that has been years in the making for my husband, kids and myself. Is it expected that I pay for everything or take them all over the place, thus spending my own money when they come? I am not a cheap person, just really trying to make this trip happen for my husband and kids.

I recently asked a question and actually differed in opinion with the person I gave Best Answer to. I just read all the answers and felt that person gave the most thought out answer. I could see the other person's point. Do you think that people only ask for others opinions only to valid their own ?

It just seems to me that the way things are going, the world is on a downhill slide. More and more teenagers are having children, they don't respect their elders. Political correctness is way too over the top. People can't even have an opinion anymore without some group being offended. You can't discuss religion or politics in a civil manner because if your opinion differs from someone else, then you get attacked. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but it just seems that everything is going down the toilet. What do you think and why ?

That you come to YA to burn some time, read some questions, answer a few. But in all of this there are people that make you stay out of certain categories. Do any of you find that you tend to not answer questions, say in Politics or other categories just because of all the balarkey getting thrown around? If so, which categories do you stay out of and why ?

When people like "coon killer" or others that purposely post questions that are clearly racist or other dumb questions, why not just ignore them completely? I know when answering, you sometimes are subjected to reading these idiots answers, but you don't have to respond. It only adds fuel to their fire. They are looking to stir up trouble and everyone is all too willing to accommodate them. It's like a bully, if you ignore them, they eventually go away. Yes, you could report them, their account gets deleted, then they resurface with another name and account. On some occasions they resurface with the same exact name. Ignore them people... let's band together and wipe out Ignorance....LOL

I just fell down the last two stairs at my job, hitting my shin on one stair, both knees on the floor & of course my wrists hurt due to blocking my fall. My Sergeant saw this and has to fill out an accident report...how embarrassing...I just slammed my thumb in my trunk like 2-3 days ago..now my nail is swollen & black.. it seems as though if something can happen, it will especially to me. Anyone else out there like me or am I the only clutz ??
