Reason of Violation:Not a Question or Answer
what's funny is that people actually answered that question quite rudely,, and I got yanked !!
and yes I am VERY proud of my son.. my IQ was tested last in the 9th grade and was 143..probably went down throughout the years though !! LOL I did send an email back to them and let them know I have a 40% best answer rate, I don't think someone just putting whatever on answers would have that !!
I did not answer in insult, I added my sons' score because that is where I got the results scale from. AND I am really proud...

sit back. I were given one too for opposing the BNP; merely with assistance from posting a itemizing of each and every of the lawbreaking incidents of their officials/supporters. some different person revealed an identical list right this moment, so i'm satisfied if my 11 factors wakes up some human beings to what they're all about. i have merely ever gained 3 violations and performance challenged 2 of them, devoid of reply both so do not carry your breath Sonia C.

No...you gave an actual (and obviously well informed) answer. Problem I can see is that I guess the asker was offended because (s)he thought you directly insulted the son when you only posted what the actual range is. The unfortunate thing is that often, yahoo really doesn't thoroughly investigate alleged violations, just yank the answers.

Granted, you did post the ranges after you posted your child's score, but, well, I don't work at Yahoo! so, I can't give you a truly definitive response to your query.
It's likely that either the poster of the question or someone else felt you might have been either showing off, or making their child look dumb by posting your child's IQ score, which was significantly higher than their child's score. I could see how this part of your response might be viewed as irrelevant to the question at hand, and consequently, not an answer to the question posed.

No but im sure Yahoo has something in their list that makes it that way. You should be very proud of your son. That is amazing. Does the IQ run in the family?

I had this happen to me.
Click reply on the email message and respectfully ask Yahoo to reconsider the action.
If you are considerate in your request, Yahoo should remove the violation and give you back your points.
I hope this helps

Yes, it's commonly known as 'rubbing it in the face of an idiot'. As the world is made up of far more idiots than genii (like your son almost is and I most certainly am [modesty is another of my virtues]) it is only natural that they get p1ssed off when you show them how dumb they really are.

E-mail y/a back and ask them to review it. Obviously it answers the question, but some people violate others just for spite. I've appealed several violations and won.
