There is a girl who calls me that instead of my name. Is it something bad?

Is it against the law to give your child his fathers last name and your grandparents last name. Omitting your own last name?

Can my mothers neighbor take her to court for an incident that happened at her house approx. 1 1/2 years ago?

Some boys were in her back yard while she was at work. They were shooting a bb gun and struck the neighbors car.

She heard nothing of the incident at the time it happened and none of the kids was charged with anything that we know of. Now the guy is claiming he has police reports, witness statements and a signed admission of guilt from somebody. Is there a statute of limitations on such cases?

I recently put up $235 to bail my friend out of jail. I believe the bail bondsman told me that my person has to show up for all court appearances or I owe $1500 and whatever costs they incur trying to locate the person bonded so that they can get him back into court.

The person has one more court date on the 23rd of this month, but has already been sentenced to DV classes and alcohol classes. The court date for the 23rd is so the victim has an opportunity to speak at sentencing.

If he doesn't show up for one of thse classes do i have to pay the $1500 plus whatever costs the bondsman has to find him or after he shows up for court can the bond be released and I'm out nothing?

The display in the middle of the dash that shows, engine oil life, average mileage, doors open and so on, goes completely out when you turn on the A/C. It was intermittent for a while, if you turned the car off and back on it would reset itself and work. Now it is out completely.

Any ideas?

My 16 year old son has been seeing a girl off and on who at times wants him around and other times wants to be with someone else.

At first I thought the girl was the problem now I find from one of his friends that when she tries to get some space from him or date others he makes threats to hurt himself, lies that he's having a heart attack etc. to get her back into his life.

What can I do to help in this situation?

We recently purchased a 1991 Nissan Sentra from a neighbor hoping to repair it and give to our teen son. Problem is the car will start after a few tries and run but after a bit dies and will not restart.

Neighbor has replaced the starter and starter relay.

Bro mechanic says it may be a fuel relay or distributor problem.

I think my BF of 8 months is addicted to porn. He has over 100 dvds and would rather watch those and please himself than have any kind of intimacy with me. Last night there was a big blow up and he threw out MOST of them. I noticed that he hid two in a drawer during his rage when he didn't know I was watching.

Our 2 year old electric Whirlpool Dryer doesn't heat and if you set it at say 50 minutes it will stay running indefinitely and won't shut off till you open the door. What's up? It does this no matter if you put it on Timed heat, Fluff dry etc

My BF is asking for me to pay part of the rent which I have no problem doing as I am living there. I pay the cable bill, both cell phone bills, pay for my own gas in my car and 3 -4 times a week buy the odds and ends at the grocery store IE something for dinner, dog food/cat food, laundry detergent. This I don't mind. The thing that's bothering me now is that he wants receipts for everything I buy down to coffee in the morning on the way to work etc. So he can see where my money is going. I'm a grown woman and I don't think I should have to do this. Is he trying to control me?
