OK, my husband and I met under very unusual circumstances. And people often ask us"how did you guys meet" (which in my country is considered a very private question but that here in America it seems very common). And for us to explain how we meet we have to explain some stuffs that we don't really want to get into, because it involves children, divorce, a mess. So, we try to simply answer as " in a bar" which is half true. Thing is they push for details and we end up going through the whole story which really annoys me.

So, my question is: how do I dismiss the question when people ask how we met?

Should I simply say " it's a long story we don't want to get into that right now?". I tried that but it seems people get even more curious.

" It's private we don't like to talk about it". Is it rude to say that?

Any suggestions?

How soon should somebody start "decorating" the cubicle at a new job? I mean, how soon is too soon? Is it rude to start bringing stuffs, such as pictures of your dog, a plant or stuffs like that on the second day? Should I wait week?

I’m interviewing for an analyst job with this event planning company. The director (she’s also the owner) scheduled the interview to take place at a local Starbucks. I have never had an interview offsite before and I’m a little nervous. Any tips? I don’t drink coffee (I hate coffee actually). Should I order tea? Should I order anything at all? She told me to dress casual. I’m freaking out, not sure why…. since I’ve had many interviews in the past. But all of them were on-site, formal etc.

Jesus told us to celebrate his death ( last supper) not his birth. Paul the apostle NEVER mentioned about celebrating Jesus birth. The three wise men gave presents to Jesus only, nobody else. Jesus wasn't born on dec 25, actually that day was praticed several pagan rituals ( includding orgies) around the world. Pine trees adorned with gold and silver, are mentioned in Jeremiah chapter 10. See it for yourself, and be prepared is not good!

Christmas has nothing to do with Jesus and, my opinion true Christians should not celebrate it.

Is Mario party 7 good? One thousand year door and Mario sunshine are my son's favorite. I want to get him a new Mario game and I was thinking about Mario Kart or Mario party 7. Wich one is the best?

Aren't you guys all tired of reading the same questions over and over and over again? I'm just sick of reading the "am I pregant" or "is he cheating" or " does he love me".....

Does anybody know what kind of chemicals manufacturers put on clothes to make them look bright and with that brand new smell? Even when the fabric was washed and bleached such as jeans they always come with the brand new clothes smell and shine. What kind of product they use? Just curious....

I've taken several IQ tests for the past 15 years and everytime my IQ comes up a different number. And has increased with my age. The first time my score was 125. Then 135, 137, 140 and 145. I don't believe a test can measure your intelligence but I'm still intrigued by it. Did you ever take an IQ test? What was your highest score? I've taken the test in my native language and in English. Few differences vocabulary wise but not much. In English came out higher, surprisingly enough.

You know those websites that say they will collect a sample from your DNA and make a comparison and tell you where your "lineage" is from etc.

I wonder how accurate is that, and if anybody ever tried.

I get schocks everywhere I go. If I'm nervous or tense, I get shocks even by touching a carboard....

Does anybody know how to make those stupid schocks go away?

(5'4 and 110 lbs). It's going to be around 60 F on the wedding day. I have no idea what other people are wearing because I don't know anybody there besides the bride and the groom ( they are my husbands friends). I never been to a day time wedding. The weddings I've been to were all evening weddings. I am so lost! Please hlep!
