What is the best way to cope with a pet who died suddenly?
I have 6 and 1/2 year old cat,Lucky, who died last friday morning while I was away for work. My mother informed me on Saturday that my pet is gone. She saw her under the table dead. She said that my cat looked perfectly normal on Thursday, but did not eat her supper and slept under the table. When she wake up to check on her, she was shocked to see that Lucky was gone. She had her buried at the back of our house. I am so devastated, I can't concentrate on my work. I keep on thinking that it was a good death- she did not suffer. But I feel terrible for not being able to say goodbye. Cat owners out there, help! Thank you!

1 AnswerRenting & Real Estate9 years agoCan a koi and a goldfish live without food for 2-3days?
I'll be out of town for two to three days. I feed them twice a day, morning and evening. Based on your experience, can they live without food this long? Thanks!
5 AnswersFish10 years agoTips on how to prolong the life of koi and goldfish?
I'm starting to like them. They are already learning to feed from my hand and beg for food. But I'm scared that they might not live long. I feed them flakes twice a day.I avoid overfeeding them. I change the water once a week. I have an airpump and filter and i remove chlorine and metals from the water. Are there still tips I can use to make them healthier and live longer? And, is it true that they can eat bits of lettuce & watermelon? Thanks!
6 AnswersFish10 years agoHow to tell a cousin to never borrow my clothes?Anyone with the same situation?
My cousin is also my neighbor and she likes to raid my closet to find clothes she would like to wear. I don't know how she developed this habit, but since she's a close family member, I just ignored it. Worse, she would return them to me, unwashed so I would have to add them to my laundry. Once, she took a blouse I should wear to office. I was irritated since I was already in a rush to prepare/look for another one. I told her to let me know when to borrow my clothes with a frown in my face. She was hurt and left my house in a rush. She never talked to me for days. I don't want her to borrow my clothes again but she's asking my permission again. What should I say not to her that much? She might tell my other relatives that we had a misunderstanding just because of a blouse.
1 AnswerFriends1 decade agoWhat's the best excuse for me to say if a neighbor is inviting me to attend their church but I don't want to?
My neighbor is of different religion from ours. She keeps on asking me if I could attend their church services. I really feel uncomfortable going there since they have a different way of worship from ours. Besides, I also heard that their religion is also persuasive on getting a lot of followers. How would I tell her that I really won't go without hurting her feelings? I've already said so many excuses but she's so persistent.

2 AnswersMakeup1 decade agoUngrateful Friend?
I helped a friend get a job with the same company I am working with. Recently, she got the job & had a higher position than I have. It'a alright for me that she got the higher position but I noticed that she does not want to talk to me anymore, and even make mean comments when she sees me. Is she a friend or what? Now I would like to regret the time that I helped her, but I still want to think that friends should help each other. Please give me some words of advice.
