The name's Matt I'm 20 I live in Ruff Raleigh North Carolina. I love the game of football, I played in high school also played 1 year of college ball at Greensboro College but right now just trying to figure out what to do with my life because I have absolutely NO clue. I'm a diehard UNC fan, have been all my life (along with the rest of my fam) and I can't stand bandwagon UNC fans that like UNC because of Jordan (like that's a good reason to like a team). I'm one of the few UNC football fans I try to go to atleast 3 games a year and support my team. My teams: UNC, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Braves, Charlotte Bobcats

  • Ipod Touch.....is it stolen?

I just bought a Ipod touch from someone today no box or anything just the device itself I'm just so scared that it might be stolen and I'm on probation and I definitely don't want it if it's stolen. But heres the weird thing it had 1 app (facebook) on it with no songs or anything else so obviously the previous owner used Itunes but when I installed Itunes and the device and first off it never asked me if I wanted to "register" it and it showed the serial number up on the screen so I'm guessing it's been registered but my question is if it was reported stolen then would I even be able to install the touch let alone have access to the Itunes store because I thought the email address and credit card number have to match up....what's the deal do you think it's stolen I really don't want to find out by getting arrested I'd rather know and give it back to the original owner even though I'd be short $90 so does anybody know if it's stolen or not because it let me on fine with no problems (didn't ask if I wanted to register it) and I have free range at the Itunes store

  • Question about waiters/waitresses?

If you don't make enough in tips to equal up to minimum wage on payday does your employer pay the difference so that you made minimum wage? And if you make over then he owes you nothing?

I'm just wondering if you work at $2.50 an hour and make no tips for 2 weeks (hypothetical) then there is no way you could pay your bills. At the end of that 2 weeks you would have made (8 hours a day 5 days a week) $200 when minimum wage is $6.50 and you should have made $520......so would your employer imburse you with $320 so that you made the minimum??

  • How/can mental disabilities be proven in a court trial?

Like for example a guy is facing life in prison and he claims that he hears voices in his head and the court finds him unstable to stand trial and he spends the rest of his life in a mental institute instead of prison. I'm just wondering if doctors can actually prove a person is actually hearing voices, but not just that any other mental disability that anyone can fake by showing the symptoms.....but can it be proven? I'm wondering this because I wonder if some people actually get away with it and are faking it the whole time just to stay out of prison.

  • Christians can you explain some things for me?

I would just like to know what exactly "thou shalt not kill" actually means when the bible has so many stories of innocent people being killed

Exodus 35:2 god demands we kill everyone who works on the sabbath day

Deuteronomy 21:18-21 god demands we kill disobedient teenagers

Leviticus 20:13 god demands the death of homosexuals

Deuteronomy 22:13-21 god demands we kill girls who are not virgins when they marry

Working on a certain day or if your a disobedient teenager means you deserve to die? Well I guess we ALL need to be killed then because EVERYONE was disobedient growing up everyone it says they should be stoned.....well lets all go out in the streets and stone each other because we've "sinned" this bible crap makes no sense at all to me.

And this is just a few examples. It doesn't say "thou shalt not kill unless god says so" it says straight up "thou shalt not kill" someone please explain this huge contradiction

  • Can doctors prescribe any medicine they want or do they have to meet requirements?

Why I'm asking is when I went to see my doc for anxiety he kept on prescribing me SSRI's which made me faint and are really more for depression which I don't have and I asked if he could try prescribing me a benzo but he said I'd have to go see a psychiatrist for that and that he doesn't prescribe them. And my friend has to go see a "suboxone doctor" to get treatment for his ron addiction he can't just go to any ole doctor so why is this? Do doctors have to be certified to prescribe certain meds or what.....can they prescribe any med they want just they don't want to?

  • Anything I can give my cat for pain?

Vet and emergency vet is closed this time of night and my cat recently had surgery to have her eye taken out and was given pain medicine to take home but that ran out a few days ago. Today she hit her sewn up eye on the corner of a box and she is obviously in pain right now anything I can give her to ease the pain and the vet/emergency vet is out of the question. I know acetaminophen is toxic but is there anything maybe a very very small dose/piece of aspirin, naproxen, ibuprofen or anything else commonly found in a house and I if there is I would only give her a very very small piece of something because I know it won't take much for it to be toxic but it still might be toxic anyways that's why I'm asking is there ANYTHING I can give her that might ease the pain? Any suggestions? Thanks

  • Why is the US so strict on drug laws?

Does the government realize that they will never stop drug use? Actually by illegalizing it they create even more users there is more than triple marijuana users now then there were before it was illegal same with every other drug. Ever heard the saying "everyone wants what they can't have" well think when prohibition was put in place and all the people making alcohol and how it was even more abused then before prohibition. They go and illegalize salvia because some guy commits suicide 4 months after he buys some? Well that just makes a whole bunch of sense I mean the salvia totally made him commit suicide he didn't have deep mental and personal issues...noooo no way I mean they have to blame it on something. Alcohol and tobacco kills hundreds of thousands every day why don't we illegalize them? Acetaminophen and all other otc drugs kill more people a year than illegal drugs do let's illegalize those too. I think the logic behind illegalizing things is that if it gets you high then it should be illegalized not the death count they could care less about that. When's the last time you heard someone dying from smoking marijuana? I can answer that for you: NO you havn't. When have you ever heard of someone raping, killing, robbing a bank while on marijuana? Marijuana is America's #1 cash crop why won't our stupid government realize this and capitalize on it make it legal and tax it imagine how much more money we would make doing that. The drug laws just seem so stupid to me is our government oblivious or just plain stupid. My thought is BOTH.

Do they really think taking drug dealers off the street is really going to stop fiends from getting their drugs? Seriously come on you can lock up all the drug dealers in the world and there still will be people abusing drugs, lets stop wasting billions of tax payers money on this "war on drugs" and use it for something more useful, it's a revolving door you keep doing the same process with no results let's stop this nonsense.

  • What's the laws for buying a gun at a pawn shop?

Here in NC (idk if it's different in other states but) you can go to a gun show and buy a handgun or rifle without a background check or anything you just buy it and leave. I was wondering if it's the same at pawn shops, can you just buy it without a background check and walk out with it or do they do the same procedures as a gun shop (background check, waiting period, etc.). Reason I'm asking is because the background check and waiting period is too long too wait to buy a gun and I have a misdemeanor on my record (eluding arrest) anybody know if you can just walk in and buy a gun at a pawn shop or are there stricter guidelines like a gun shop has?

  • Can you get a scholarship to a college while you're enrolled at another college?

My cousin was talking about getting a scholarship to some school here in NC......but he's already a freshman enrolled at a community college. Is it possible to get a scholarship to another college when alredy enrolled in one? It sounded a bit strange to me, never heard of anyone getting a scholarship while still in college they're usually for high school kids from what I understand

    Anybody know?
