  • Good Acoustic Songs for a YouTube Cover Channel?

Preferably sung by a guy, or with lyrics easily changed to be from a guy's point of view. More popular songs are better. Thanks.

  • Good songs for a YouTube channel?

I am a teenage guy who is thinking about making a cover channel on YouTube. I have some songs that I like to play, but before I do that I need more popular songs to get myself off the ground a little bit. Although I do enjoy newer songs, I don't keep very up-to-date with it, so I need some help. Any suggestions?

Some info about my music: My main instrument is a guitar (now acoustic, but I'm soon getting an electric). I do also have a keyboard, but I would like songs with a strong guitar part, at least at first. I have a medium voice. I can go high or low, but am more comfortable in the middle.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Acoustic guitar songs to learn?

I have been taking lessons for acoustic, finger-style guitar for going on two years now, and am now branching off from lessons and doing my own thing. I am not writing much yet, but I am learning a lot about guitar playing and song structure.

So, anyway, I was just listening to some old music and was wondering if there are any songs that are just a guitar, without singing or any background music, kinda soft and/or slow. Specifically, I am thinking about something in the realm of Mood for a Day by Steve Howe, but possible with my limited background in the instrument. Any songs will help.

    Thanks.

  • How do I write a proof of this?

1: prove that the line segments joining the midpoints of successive sides of any quadrilateral form a parallelogram.

#2: prove that the line segments joining the midpoints of successive sides of any rectangle form a rhombus.

I don't necessarily need the entire proof, I just need to know how I can put these two things into a proof format.

    Thanks!

    Thanks in advance.

  • What are good, popular songs I can play on acoustic guitar?

I need a wider repertoire. Currently I have:

    Collide - Howie Day

Watching You Watch Him - Eric Hutchinson

    A few Beatles songs

    A few Eric Clapton songs

Hey There Delilah - Plain White T's

    Hotel California - The Eagles

I am not very advanced, but can play intermediate level picking. My singing range is like an average male's, so nothing too fancy.

Anything will help, preferably more modern songs (not Clapton or Beatles)

  • What to do about a girl I like?

    To preface: I am a high-school sophomore.

A few weeks ago, I met a girl at a huge party that my friend threw. There I met a girl who I had never met before. We really hit it off and now I kinda like her. We have seen each other a couple of times since. We go to different schools, so it is not that common. The last time I saw her, she started flirting a bit, and I think she likes me back. Trouble is, I am a kinda awkward guy, a little shy, and I can be outgoing to my friends, but it is my curse to lock up when faced with dating. No matter what. I just do not know what to say when faced with a hot girl.

Bottom line: I need advice on talking to a girl I like.

  • I need advice, please!?

Okay, so there is a girl that I met a little while back at a party. We really hit it off, and I like her a lot. I am fairly certain that she likes me back. Here is problem #1: we don't go to the same school (we are high school sophomores). I barely see her. However, we have run into each other a couple of times since, so it is not a huge problem. 2 of 3 of the times I have seen her, we had friends around. As long as there were other people around, we were just fine talking. However, this last time, we were alone together, and I was excited. However, we are both a little bit shy, and (although it wasn't awkward, per se) it was pretty tense. We both did not know what to say to the other. Usually, though I am quiet, I can start conversations easily (I just can't follow through for the rest of the conversation). But my head just went blank. I couldn't think of anything to say.

What I am asking about is: what can we talk about, so I can have something pre-loaded. I don't want anything like an elaborate starter to a meaningful discussion, but I also do not want some cheesy pick-up line. I just need to have something better than "how's school goin'?".

  • Popular songs to cover on YouTube?

I am starting a song covers YouTube user called "guitarandband". I need popular songs, with no synth and preferably with an acoustic guitar. I have some songs in mind (some Clapton, Beatles, and Paul Simon) but I do not have many that people really know. I am willing to try any song, singing or no, with any instruments (preferably guitar and no synth, but am willing to try others).

    Thanks for any input.

  • Songs I should cover?

I am a teenage guy who is thinking of starting a youtube channel and play covers of songs. I want the main instrument to be my steel-string acoustic guitar, but I can put in almost anything else in (drums, bass, piano, etc.) with my keyboard. I can sing, and do not have a preference whether I do or not in the songs. I am thinking of doing:

    Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley

Sound of Silence (and/or) Scarborough Fair - Simon & Garfunkel

Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton

(maybe) Hey There Delilah - Plain White T's

I am looking for suggestions for more songs, and things like this would be great. Songs with more of a keyboard part would be fantastic.

  • songs on only guitar?

What are some songs that are played, at least almost, exclusively on guitar. An example is "Hey There, Delilah". More specifically, no drums or prominent keyboard parts.
