Just looking for confirmation or correction here. In layman's terms am I right that Mechanical energy is the form that the energy takes, let's use the bow and arrow example. After reading through a lot of the answers to questions in the politics section I was really just pretty disgusted about a lot of the answers. Why? Too much ignorance and hate. So basically I just wanted to put this out there to see how many other people there are here who can look at things critically and really think. I don't care what political party you people are as long as you're the kind of person who isn't locked into a certain way of thinking, someone who's willing to have a polite discussion of issues instead of sinking into the ridiculous and unproductive rhetoric involving shouting across a table or dismissing something based on party or principle. Anyone out there agree?

I'm the owner of a small technology blog and have been thinking of ways to expand and bring more traffic to the blog. I think one of the ways to do that is to have a more consistent blogging presence like Gizmodo and Engadget. Because of my schedule it's not possible for me alone so I've decided to see if anyone out there is interested in writing articles on my blog.

Because of the size of my blog there obviously wouldn't be any money involved as I'm not even making anything off of it yet. But in the future if we can bring up the traffic it would definitely be a possibility.

I have an endoscopy ( Esophagogastroduodenoscopy ) scheduled for tomorrow morning and I'm kind of freaking out about it. I know that it's a simple quick procedure and that risks are very unlikely but I think it would help to have advice about it from anyone who's gotten it done, and what it was like. Has anyone noticed that in the most recent Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trailer they openly show the complete mangling of the end of the book? After the point (chronologically in the story not in the trailer) where Harry walks into the forest to let Voldemort kill him I've found it pretty much impossible to find anything that they seem to have done right.

1. There's nobody around but Harry and Voldemort when there should be people surrounding them completely, everybody who wasn't killed in the battle of hogwarts.

2. There's a scene where Voldemort is holding Harry up by his face asking him why he's still alive while in the entrance hall portion of the castle

3. There's a very visible Priori Incantartum scene which appears to be the showdown between Harry and Voldemort. This not only means that they changed the end of the book but also never had Harry's wand getting broken in there earlier on in Godric's Hollow.

4. Harry and Voldemort are outside in a courtyard, not in the great hall.

5. Although definitely not a major problem it's already day outside instead of adding to the dramatic effect by having Harry and Voldemort attack each other just as the sun comes up like in the book.

I can understand them having to change certain parts of the movies to make it more watchable but to actually change every single aspect of the most crucial part of the book? I just can't understand it at all. The ending of the book was absolutely perfect as it was, why would any so called Harry Potter fan that had a part in making the movie do this? I've just been struggling with my new rig for about 6 hours straight and can't get this to work. First of all, here's the specs:

AMD Phenom II X6

ATI Radeon 5770

8 GB's dual channel DDR3 RAM ( 4 sticks total)

850 W Power supply

MSI 890FXA-GD70 motherboard

1 TB Caviar Black WD HDD

2 DVD drives (about 22-24 x)

Full ATX AZZA Solano 1000 Case

OK, here's the situation...

I plug it in, plug video in, press the power button, all the fans, the HDD the dvd drives, everything turns on, I don't get Post or any kind of BIOS up on the screen and putting in OS discs or the Motherboard disc doesn't help. On the motherboard LED screen it shows the debug error D1 which as far as I can tell isn't listed anywhere. I'd tell you what the case speaker does but I can't seem to find where to hook that up. It's not a short causing the error because I took out the motherboard and checked for any loose screws or extra standoffs that could be causing it. I've tried resetting the CMOS multiple times. So

1. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

2. Anyone know where to plug in the case speaker?

3. Any other miscellanious help with other stuff I mentioned?

Anybody have some recommendations? I'm looking for any kind of wired keyboard that has pretty quiet keys that stay pretty quiet over time and has a full keyboard layout of some kind. (I'm trying to cut down on wi-fi and EMF's in my office so I want a good wired keyboard for under 50 dollars.) Thanks!
