Ok, so, for a Secret Santa gift, my friend bought me a turtle. I don't know how to take care of a turtle at all, but I decided to keep it. (btw: the turtle is an aquatic turtle)

I have a BUNCH of questions for any other turtle owners out there, so any help would be greatly appreciated!! :)

1) Is tap water fine for it to live in?

2) What temperature should the water be?

3) Is a regular desk lamp fine for light?

4) Should the light from the lamp be on the dock?

5) Does it always need light? Or should I turn it off at times? (like at night for it to sleep?)

6) How often does it need to eat?

7)How much should it eat each time? (My friend gave me aquatic turtle food but I just don't know how much to give it)

8) Any other responsibilities I, as a new turtle owner, should know? I'm really starting to love it, and I kind of want to keep it now (because my friend told me how low maintenance it is)

This is my third time talking about this, but I'm still pretty confused!

So, tomorrow I plan on getting new glasses from LensCrafters. I was wondering if all I need to bring is money? I got tested only about three weeks ago so they should have everything on record, but do I have to bring anything else? I can just go in, pick a pair of glasses, wait for them to adjust it with the specific lens, and buy them?

If I already got my prescription and everything tested (last week actually), but I want new glasses, can I just go in and get them?

AKA will the store (Lenscrafters) have my prescription and everything already saved? So all i'll have to do is go in, pick a brand, and buy them?

Today, I tragically lost my glasses after the third day of having them. (Stupid, I know and understand...) I don't want to tell my dad because of how angry he'll get (even though I may have to live up to the consequences and tell him...)

BUT my question is...

Can I just go to the place where he bought them (LensCrafters) and get new ones if I have the money in hand and the receipt? Or do I need to take the test all over again, get a prescription, and do all that like I did before?

Would I be able to just get the glasses by myself with the money and the receipt?

(I'm 16, by the way. Not sure if that matters, which it might because of legal matters?)

how do you find the inverse of

f(x) = (x +3)/(x-2)

i thought i wouldn't be able to find the inverse of this because there would be 2 y's, but the back of the book had the inverse!

My friend and I recently started our own community organization. This isn't an official organization, but we wanted to raise Autism Awareness and money for a cure. We've already had one event that was a Yoga Gathering. We raised money, and donated it to a nearby AutismSpeaks. We were wondering if this is legally allowed and if we will be able to continue this even though it isn't technically a legalized organization. Would it still be on record that we are doing this? We've created a Facebook page and Instagram and other social media sites for this organization. We want to know for future projects with volunteer and other work, so we would have this as one of our accomplishments. We would want this to be "legalized" per say, but according to our research that would take a long time and we aren't even of age. we are only 16 and this involves taxes and other federal work. We'd be fine with just raising money for actual organizations, but we just would like to know if we would still be recognized for this work.

For the past 2-3 years, I've been struggling with chronic procrastination (mostly on homework, studying). It's so bad that I'm up till about 3 in the morning every school night finishing homework because I didn't start it until midnight. I never just not do my homework, though. I always get it done. It's just that I find it hard to start the homework and stay focused. Also, with studying, I'll only start studying the night before (night meaning 3 am). And at this time, I'm so tired that I usually just study for about 30 mins then go to sleep. I'm taking a summer research class, and my mentor wanted something turned in yesterday, but I didn't even do it yet. I've already thought of an excuse to make to her, but I'm just so fed up with how I've been living my life. I want to change so badly. I hate this procrastination habit that I have, and I want it to end! It's this bad now, but its going to get worse if I can't find a solution.

I'm thinking I might have mild ADHD? I'm not sure. Next year is my junior year in High School (aka the most important year) and I want this habit to end.

So my question is, do you guys have any advice to stop procrastinating? Don't say, "just get off your computer" because most of my homework is on my computer. And if I block all the social media sites, I just end up going on my phone. If I try turning off my phone, I just end up turning it back on again.

Also, saying "just do your work" won't help either...

Now back to that homework...

I am currently a sophomore in high school and in chemistry honors.

4 words.

This class is hell.

I currently have a C in chemistry, and if I want a B...a miracle must happen and I need to get a 90 on the final.

The final's in 3 days and I'm currently working my hardest, but I don't know if I'll be able to do it. :/

It's honestly THE hardest class I've ever taken.

And to make matters worse, I want to become a dentist when I grow up, which involves a lot of science.

Even the acceptance test into dental school, the DAT, has a lot of general chemistry in it.

So basically, Chemistry is making my life utter hell at this point. :(

Sorry about the rant, but what's your hardest subject in school and why?

I've been best friends with this one girl for quite a while, and now we are in our 2nd semester of High School freshman year. She's been acting really weird lately. This has happened throughout the year at various times but not so much as it is now. Whenever she sees me, She makes a disgusted face and turns away. 2 days ago, I pushed into her in a friendly way, like you might do to one of your friends and she got all annoyed. She called me embarrassing to be around. I felt terrible, and today I tried saying hi to her and she just brushed me off. Although, when she isn't around her school and her friends, we are so close. It was recently my birthday, and she came to my party and we had the time of our lives. We also skype many times and have so much fun. Just recently, she hasnt been responding to ANY of my texts or skyping with me.

I don't know what to feel as we have been best friends for so long, and all of sudden it's like she is trying to make herself more distant from me. She even said I was embarrassing to be around. Should I still call her a friend? I mean if you're embarrassed to be my friend, then I would not like to call you my friend. But the problem is, we've been best friends for so long, I just don't know what to feel.

Mine's world history... just all the information you have to memorize its just so hard! also its the class with the most discussions and presentations which are annoying...

I was thinking of getting them, but I've heard mixed reviews. Some people have been telling me how its amazing and the best purchase. They tell me how the sound is incredible and nothing like i've ever experienced. Others have been telling me how it is a WASTE of money to buy them and people just buy them to look cool. They tell me how the sound is the exact same as normal headphones. It's just more expensive.

I wanted to ask my parents for them for my birthday, but now im not too sure...

ok so I have a REALLY bad procrastination habit.

It's really gotten out of control.

Its 2:30 AM right now and I just finished my homework.

I got home at 5:30 and I only had 2 Assignments!

I wasted my whole time on youtube/internet!

This is my normal time for finishing homework, actually.

The latest i've stayed up was 3:30.

I believe that if i didn't procrastinate I could go to sleep early and not be up this late.

I just really can't help myself! My laptop is in my room and I didn't even need it today. I still took it out and went on youtube. My 2 assignments only took 1 1/2 hrs when I actually did them. If I hadn't procrastinated I could've finished them early!

PLEASE, PLEASE help and give me suggestions on how to stop this very bad habit.

I'm sick and tired of this! I want to go to bed early but I just always procrastinate! Its like I can't help myself!

I also think about how i'm in middle school now and in high school its going to be a lot harder. I'll have a lot more tests and homework and if i keep this up, it will not be good.

Have any suggestions for me!?

It's my birthday, but I don't feel that excited. I just turned 13.

I kind of feel bad that I'm growing up.

Don't judge me, but I just feel sad that I won't be able to do the things that I was when I was younger. I'm not a little kid anymore, and now it will only get harder and harder from here. I can't enjoy the things I enjoyed when I was a little kid.

It just feels weird growing up.

Anything to make me feel better?
