  • GMC 8100 Vortec Crankshaft Position Sensor Removal?

    Anyone have any tips or tricks for removing the crankshaft position sensor from an 8.1L? I punched out the firewall by the accelerator, so access is not a problem. I've soaked it in PB Blaster. The damn thing is stuck and refuses to budge and I don't want to break it off (because pulling my engine is not on my to-do list). Any thoughts, tips, tricks, or words of encouragement to keep me from lighting my Yukon on fire out of frustration?

  • Wilderness EMT Certification?

    I've looked into several of the reputable schools that offer W-EMT certification. My question is, what is the real world job outlook of a W-EMT? There seems to be very little information available on job openings in the field, salary, advancement opportunities, etc.. Anybody have inside knowledge? Worked as a W-EMT? Know a good resource for information that I haven't found? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Many thanks.
