My six-year old Payne f urnace is making a winding or humming noise in the box where I am pointing to, what could it be?
Do any parts need to be lubricated or anything like that? It does it when the furnace is running and afterward for a few minutes. It doesn't always do it but mostly. Thank you!

I had my gutters redone so the water flows out into the yard instead of into the underground sewer. Problem was they didn't do it for a month and now it's 40 degrees. Can I still use concrete if it's slightly above freezing? Any other ways I can rig it till it gets warmer? I just have some bowls over the top of it now.

GXC & SCHE with no other fees besides expense ratio. I am in my low 50s, have bought S&P & Total Market for past 21 years and plan to stop since 457 plan started adding their own maintenance fees for Vanguard funds, don't have a great selection, and ETFs have advantages. Will hopefully have two pensions that are heavy in bonds so I'm not going to add any bonds outside of that.

What is the cost of having a low cost house?
And really more to the point, is it legal and possible to build a house like this picture with today's laws? I know similar questions have been asked with the do your own research but I just get a bunch of online places that want my info. This house is worth $40K and I like my street in a nice pocket of Milwaukee's ghetto but don't want to buy an old house like this. There are "shacks" in Milwaukee that are extremely rickity. ty
