  • ' cattery' or 'pet sitting service?

Which one is better cattery or pet sitters?

i m going away on holiday and cant make up my mind as where to leave my cats..

in the past i left them at the cattery and someone suggested using pet sitting service, where i leave them at home and someone will come and feed and clean them everyday.

even though they are cheaper than catteries,

firstly i am worried about leaving my house keys to total strangers

and secondly what if they dont come 1 day, what will happen to my cats!!

    some suggestions pls,

    thanks

i have just started treatment for depression..

  • can anybody give me an idea about vet accounts?

do vets have a system when we can pay a monthly amount towards the treatment of a pet? instead of paying it all at one go can i spread the cost?

will it include regular vaccination fee, worming and other minor or major vet visit fees??

i have no idea i always paid as i needed to go but now i have 2 cats and the costs are piling up

i didnt want to ask the vets first as i didnt want to look like an ignorant fool

  • cat question..?

i have a very good looking cute tabby cat

he is grey and black with white socks and glove like paws

everyone who sees him says he is handsome

i took him to the vets the other day and there was an eldery lady with her cat sitting at reception, she takes a look at my tabby and says

'oh what a good looking cat, i have never had an ordinary cat in my life, but he is not too bad for an ordinary one'

what the ..... does that mean??

cats are like babies u love your babies regardless of their breed.

All pets are special to their owners, arent they?

Or are there people who only want cats to show off?

i cant imagine how she treated 'ordinary cats' in her time.
