I want to obtain a copy of a private road approach permit that ingresses or egresses from a County Road. Am I legally entitled to ask for a copy of the permit? Are road permits a matter of public record?

The property owner on the bluff above me had storm water run off which damaged my property. I have a formal letter of complaint filed with an attorney requesting that this owner address the problem. He denies any storm-water run-off allegations and damage although it's been proven.

Now he has his property up for sale. How do I go about filing a cloud on the title to his property at the court house? What instrument should I use? An encumbrance or?

* Child pension to a child who has lost a parent and the deceased had earned a pension entitlement

* Funeral grant that is means-tested.

* In the event of occupational injury there are special, more advantageous rules that apply to the calculation of sickness benefit, disablement pension, child pension etc.

EXCEPTION: Does not apply only if you have been posted by an employer in this country to work in a different country for a limited period

- you move to a different country.

This is a question a friend has posed to me and I am in a quandry about how to answer.

So, I have a company that will pay benefits - that wants me to work for them, but apparently I would be working for the Marquis de Sade - well, I wouldn't report directly to her - she's a senior and there are two levels above me.

On the other hand, I have a company that wants to just string me along as a contractor and the boss (whom I adore) wants the new person to maybe make a decision about me - though it would be easier to just string me along and not pay me a: what I am worth and b: offer me any benefits.

50 years ago, it was verbally agreed upon between two parties to grant easements to each other on a property. Part of the agreement stipulated that one of the easement holders would be responsible for repair and maintenance for BOTH easements. All goes very well. The easement holder honors the agreement.

Fast Forward 45 years. The original easement holder agreeing to repair and maintenance both easements, sells its easement to another entity. The seller passes the information to the buyer that they will now be responsible for repairs and maintenance for both easements.

The new buyer complies but is extremely lackadaisical and must be reminded by mail, by phone, by visit, many times over (by the original party who has no obligation to repair and maintenance either easement) of the obligation. The new buyer does ignores the reminders and does not stay in contact with the no obligation-easement holder. The new buyer does furnish a letter of obligation from their attorney however.

Not wanting to sound like a doom-sayer, but as a realist, I think the US economy is spiraling.

Protecting markets and “consumers” from the truth of how bad our economic reality is will backfire. We do not need to “panic.” But citizens do need accurate news and analysis to get ready for the potential of a radically diminished economy. We are living in a time of unprecedented planetary crisis. People need to prepare physically and psychologically for massive changes.

How bad do you believe it really is for the US? Rampant consumption, addiction to growth, and failure to accept limits to growth damage and over-consumption drives the increasingly extreme and chaotic climate.

We have contaminated our air and waterways, clear-cut our forests, and our inner cities are dying. The pollution of such natural resources often preceeds economic and societal collapses.
