  • Where can a woman age 40+ buy sexy and sophisticated size 2P clothing?

I am in my late 40s, 5' 3" tall and 105 to 110 lbs and I need clothing in size 2P. Most stores that carry "petite" clothing have a great selection for short, fat women, but little or nothing in my size. Juniors department clothing does not fit me right and I don't want to dress like a little girl anyway.

If I could find a store that carries a decent selection of size 2P clothing for a reasonable price, I would do all of my shopping there! I'm tired of spending an entire day shopping and only finding one or two pieces (if I'm lucky).

Can someone please tell me what stores carry a good selection of size 2 Petite clothing at an affordable price?

I'll soon have to go naked if I can't find some clothes in appropriate styles that fit me :)

  • How could the current H1N1 "swine flu" variation develop naturally?

Considering that the current H1N1 "swine flu" is actually a combination of swine flu, avian flu and human flu strains from different continents, I would like to have a scientific explanation of how it is possible for this "triad" flu strain to have developed naturally.

  • Very hard to plug in and unplug cords from electrical outlets - Why and how to fix it?

Many of the standard electrical outlets in my house are "sticky" - it's very hard to push an electric cord into the outlet and very hard to pull it back out. After several uses, the face plates actually crack and break from the pressure of pushing and pulling so hard.

I haven't spilled or sprayed anything on the outlets, so I have no idea what could have caused this problem. The outlets were like this when I moved in. If it makes any difference, the house is in a desert climate and was built in the late '80s or early '90s.

What causes this problem? Is there something simple I can do to make the outlets function smoothly again? Or will it be necessary to have my landlord get an electrician to fix the problem?

  • If we went back to the Gold Standard today, would gold be worth $40k per ounce?

Someone told me yesterday that we (the US) can't go back to the Gold Standard because it would put the price of gold at roughly $40,000 per ounce. Can anyone confirm this?

  • Need Immediate Help With My Dilemma - Please HELP!?

I posted an ad on Craigslist about an hour ago (with lots of photos) to sell my bedroom set for $1000. I got a call right away from someone who wants to buy it, sight unseen, for $1000. Shortly afterward another person called to buy the set sight unseen and is begging me to sell it to her for $1100. I paid $4500 only 2 years ago, so these people are getting a bargain. They both are promising to be at my door first thing tomorrow with the cash and a moving truck. I'm moving and really need the money. Do I sell to person #1? Sell to person #2? Have them fight it out on my front lawn? Repost saying that I'm taking bids? HELP! I have to solve this dilemma immediately!
