My 55lb German shepherd pit bull mix cannot use frontline or k9 advantix. Ive used both and she runs around hiding, no wanting to move, and down right uncomfortable. I had to bathe her immediately. My other dog is completely fine. Is there anything else I can use other than a flea and tick collar?

My Grandmother is searching for a car after her's was totaled when she was rear-ended.

We're trying to find her a good car for her mobility, being 80 she has trouble getting out of low cars and getting in high ones (vans/trucks).

My grandfather purchased a few goats a couple weeks ago. One of the goats was said to be pregnant, she's a Nubian goat. she has very swollen large utters, and has since he's had her. her stomach area does not seem to be large. it's rather small at the top, we're starting to think she had the kid and they sold it and her to two different people. Her utters seem painfully swollen, she stands with her back right leg lifted forwards most of the time. We're not sure if we should milk her or not... and if we don't milk her will the milk just dry up?

any advice would be great.

I have a Dell and am running Windows Vista. The computer is under one year old. Recently, I am not able to browse the internet. It says that I am connected, but the page says cannot display webpage. I have tried both Internet Explorer and Firefox. I have checked the Windows firewall and it doesnt seem to be the problem. I have also tried to diagnose the problem but that did not help either. I do know that the other night Windows did some automatic updates and I have not been able to browse the internet since. Any help/suggestions wold be very appreciated.

Ok, firstly, the cat my family had for 17 years had to be put down last year due to the cat food recalls. I'm going to adopt from the shelter, and i'm having trouble with picking one out because my cat was not friendly really, at all I liked and her all its just she would bite us and scratch us at random. This will be MY cat in my apartment at college. Honestly I'm a dog person, and I know dogs verrryyy well but i was unable to take my dog here since I do not think she would adjust to apartment life. so i'm really trying to understand cats.

I was looking today for one, and some of them were swatting there paws at me with their nails out, and I think they were really trying to grab me, mostly because they got my sweatshirt. but some did not have there nails out. Can you break cats of clawing you?

Do cats naturally know to use the litter box? How do you train if not.

Also, does "shelter life" cause cats to act differently as it does dogs? because I want a real playful one.

for the past couple of days, while attempting to watch tv, on some channels, i could see the picture for about 3 seconds, then it would go black for a second then the picture would re-appear. i adjusted the satelite to receive a better signal, which failed. now this morning i turned on the tv, i can only watch about 1.2 seconds now. i cannot rewind the "watching live" tv. i also could not turn off the box. a message keeps popping up saying to "activate dvr", we already have a dvr, being tivo, which came with the box when they shared a contract. so we connect to the phone line last night, and "fixed" the problem, now the message is popping up again. so we figured unplugging the box and plugging it back in would be best, now the box will not turn on. i know it is receiving power, because the tv is not fuzzy as if the box was off.

i know this is very confusing, and we will probably end up calling directv, but i was hoping that maybe someone may have had the same problem, and can shine some light on the issue.

i got my navel done a year ago and it hurt probably scale 1-10 (10 being worst) about a 4. and i'm getting an industrial piercing next week, and was wondering how badly it hurts... i was told that your navel hurts like all, but it didnt hurt me. i want to be "prepared" or whatever.

he's in HORRIBLE condition, I have a hamster.. so i know a little about guinea pigs or whatever. I got him from my cousins who apparently couldn't care for him at all.. his cage was full of ****. his hair is starting to come off of his ears and he's a mess. I've cleaned out his cage and i need to know how to bathe him... and what kind of bedding to put in.

I was trying to go the cheap way and bought hartz drops for my dog... then realized how bad hartz is for dogs, it never really went to her skin, when i applied it- it didn't seem to go anywhere but on her fur and it was oily like.... the next day i bathed her in dawn dishwash, and then with her normal shampoo, it all came off.. this was sunday. I ordered Frontline offline and it should probably be here today, how long should i wait before putting it on her?

I have one now, but it makes a rattling noise and gets on my nerves.
