Actually, I hadn't ever heard anything about them. But my little preemie hated our regular infant car seat. He cried and cried. I knew it was because he was uncomfortable- squished up. So I began investigating and found that several manufacturers make in infant car bed. They're federally inspected. Graco makes one. I called the police to make sure it was legal and up to standards ( it is.) I bought one - and boy, has it made a difference! I knew our baby was tested at the NIC unit to see his reaction from the car seat, but I didn't realize that had he been in any distress, they would have made us get this car bed - so that he could lay rather than sit. Have you all heard of this? Did you like yours? I wonder why they don't advertise this for everyone, rather than make it merely for preemies? Thanks

Our new angel was premature and the only nipple the hosp could get him to take was a nuk type. So, I went & got nuk bottles to use. He loves them, but they aren't keeping the gas away as much as I'd like. He's always gassy. Anyone got any ideas what he might go to, to replace the Nuks? I tried another Gerber one ( he wouldn't take it- won't take even a soothie pacifier.) Am I stuck with a gassy baby? Thanks!!

My daughter ( 13) who has a myriad of psychiatric problems, was attacked and is having a baby. My husband and I are adopting the baby. I just wondered if there are other older moms out there? I'm 45. We're raising the baby as our own child, with our daughter as the sister.

I've just heard that in Brazil a nine yr old was raped by her step father and became pregnant with twins. The mother and child's Dr approved and performed an abortion. The local Bishop then ex-communicated both the mother of the girl and the doctor. They did NOT ex-communicate the rapist/step father. And the Catholic church is supporting this decision, saying," Murder is worse than rape."

Well just at this moment, it happens that I find myself in a similar situation. My child is pregnant with her rapist's baby. ( My child is disabled mentally.)

While we are not having an abortion, and while I don't believe in abortion ( I am pro life) I will honestly say that had we known about the pregnancy 1st trimester, I would have at least considered it. Until you walk in someone else's shoes, ya know? While my daughter isn't nine, she's still very young. And this has been a nightmare for her & us, and maybe the baby,too. ( Though we shall love the child,)

I'd like to hear your opinions on this news report/ issue. Please, no zealots, I am a Christian who is doing the best I can. And I can assure you the rapist (in my child's case) is behind bars. Compassion please, but honest opinions.

Should she be given forgiveness? Do you think she's guilty? Are people wrong to attack her parents the way they have? These people got death threats for the funeral.

What are your thoughts, please?

I do. I'll say it straight out. I love Stewie. We skip the blasphemy parts ( Seth is a serious atheist) and I call attention to them as blasphemous. But I do like the show and think it's irreverent humor hilarious.

Almost all those asking questions about God seem to really want to change others opinions rather than investigate a possibility. If people really have their own opinion and are satisfied with it then why feel you have to prove everyone else wrong?

Does it bother you, when askers submit questions which are often unreadable? The sentences are poorly constructed, the punctuation and capitalization often ignored. Please know I am the first to understand a slip or misspelled word. It's difficult to communicate online without error, especially if one is passionate about the topic. Also, I understand many are new to this language and must be afforded courtesy. That aside, shouldn't an asker attempt coherency?

While I realize this isn't Jeopardy, I am often struck by the lack of writing ability in the community. Does anyone else feel this way or am I on my soap-box? ( Be nice!)

I loved Weeds, Sex & the City, the Riches, But all time favorite--- has to be Six Feet Under! What a treasure.

Y&R did three families. I would do one set in a residential home for older folks. The drama would all happen to their families and they would try to sort it out and analyze with eachother how to fix their messed up kids, family.

And why?

Anyone who reads my stuff knows I am a true Y&R fan. It was the soap of my girlhood. My 1st crush was on Phillip Chancellor - Sr not jr!lol! I think this soap is better because of the way they handle the storylines. Some have been known to reach 10 yrs (real time) into the future. e.g. Lily's paternity.

For example: On Y&R- why do Michael & Lauren live in a dinky apt when Fenmore's is so rich she buys from Eric Forrester on B&B?

Same question for Neal. He's in upper mgt. meaning at least $200,000.yrly. AND he owns a nightclub. But he lives in an apt?

Why does no one talk abot JT's wealth? He's from a rich family - not working class.

On B&B- When they teach their kids sex ed, do they all mess up the incestious part- incorrectly saying its ok. rather than please don't sleep with your daughter's husband?

In another question, I supposed they were readying a shift by placing Nick & Adam at each other. I Adam will be the next Victor Newman. I see Cane & Lily as the opposition family- just as the Abbots used to be with the Newmans. There's always a time when there's a power shift. Victor is too old to hold the super couple status with Nikki- I think. So I'm betting Adam & Heather- aginst Cane & Lily- and the Baldwins, Neil's bunch, etc as side families. What do you all think?
