I have to pick my Gr. 11 courses, for next year, next week. I know Im going into med schooI, and Gr. 11 is the year that counts the most. I just wanted to run my course selections by someone who has been through the system to see if Im on the right track:

Chemistry

Advanced Placement Biology

Physics

Gr. 11 Math

Advanced Gr. 11 Math (Second Semester)

English

Canadian Law

Child studies

Also if anyone is familiar with how the medical school system works in Canada and could explain it in a way that is easy to understand. Everywhere I look, I read something different and more confusing. Im just wondering what I need to take as a pre-med student before applying to med school, then how the Majoring and Minoring works from then on throughout the system. Also if anyone knows what the most helpful course is to major in, I would love some input. Im drifting towards specializing in pediatrics waaay way way in the future, so if anyone has any info, I would seriously appreciate it. Anyways, thanks so much in advance!

I'm in the middle of writing, and I need to know how long it would take, approximately, to drive from Portland, Maine, to somewhere in Montreal. Or better yet, after crossing the border from Maine, where could you be after driving for around 4 hours?

I got a Philips GoGear 2gb mp3 player for Christmas, and for the past two months, it wouldn't let me sync music onto it. I just hooked it up one day, and a lot of you are going to say " did you remember to turn it on?" but you aren't supposed to with this one. So anywho, i hooked it up, it connected, then i started syncing songs and then the first song failed and the rest of the sync list did too. I tried hooking it up again and it denied that it was connected. I thought it was dead but the only way to charge it is to hook it up to the computer, but it wouldn't connect. It does, however, connect to my parents computer. So after i charged i tried syncing again, and it said there was no device connected. Iv tried often since this happened and still no luck. Has this ever occurred to anyone, or does any one know how i might be able to fix it?

Iv been going for a 20 minute jog about once a day lately as part of my weight loss plan, and today I jogged, and ate afterwords and I felt like I had gained a bit of weight just because of that, kind of like a food baby? (If anyone knows the term). So basically my question is should I run before or after I eat and which will burn more calories, or is it equivalent?

I got a cold a few days ago, and at the WORST possible time. I have a horse show coming up on Saturday, and i need to be better hopefully by thursday, friday at the latest. I know there is no actual cure for colds, but is there anything i can do to help my body fight it? Im already taking vitamin C, drinking orange juice, taking Zinc tablets, and multi-vitamins, but is there anything else? My nose is constantly plugged. and its causing my throat to hurt, and thats making me cough. My tonsils are red, but not too bad. I just started DayQuil cold reliever, and it seems so be helping. I need this cold gone ASAP!

Im going in a horse show this upcoming weekend, and its my first show ever. Im debating which classes to go in, and Hunter Under Saddle was listed. I know its just a flat class, but what do they judge you on?

I'm currently in a musical, which requires alot of solo songs for the part I have. The director says i have a really great voice but its nasily. She then got me to do an exersise to fix that, but figured out its not nasily, its just airy and i need to learn to project it more, to make it stronger. Does anyone know of anything i could do on a regular basis to help that? Any tips or anything?

I'v been riding this pony for a few years in lessons, and my instructor owns her. She asked me to show her all summer at some pretty big shows, and I have only been riding for a couple years, but she convinced me I have a natural ability and the skill to take her to the top. It is my first time showing, and I'm really nervous already. The first show im doing is in May, and its a local Pony Club show. I need tips on grooming, riding, ANYTHING!Oh and I ride english so I will be jumping this summer, so keep that in mind.

So i went with some friends to the movies to the The Uninvited, horror movie, no big deal right? Well it was all good, till you get to the part where "Rachel" is dead, and Anna is there and her dad gets back and is all like your sister Alex died in the fire and next thing you know Anna's in a mental hospital, and the Kemb girl is there..i got it all up to when her dad gets back..none of my friends understood either, if anyone say it, would you mind explaining ?

I have a horse named Mocha Cappucinno. I am show jumping her this year and I need a good show name. Her name doesn't really suit her because she is a red-ish color with a black mane and tail.She is a good horse but she is a bit jumpy.Any suggestions?!?!I want something unique please.

There is a horse at the barn i ride at who is very head shy and extremely hard to catch out in the field.Is there anything i can do to help or should i just leave her alone?!?!

She is a good horse,but the other day she refused to enter the barn because of the llama. I want to get her out of this habit because she is an amazing horse but she gets so jumpy around him that no one can go near her. I would really like for people to comment or give me any tips on what i can do to help her. Anything helps
