  • Where can I find a vehicle caution light bar?

I am going to be doing a piloting service, this is where you escort the "Wide Load" Trucks. I need to get a yellow rotating caution light bar for the top of my vehicle. I can not seem to find a store that sells them, either online or not. Does anyone know of a store that I can buy these at?

  • ar-15 charging handle?

I always thought, and was told, that on any AR platform whether it be an AR-10, 15, etc that the charging handle does not come back when the rifle is fired. So when you pull the charging handle it engages and internal bolt system, however, in the newest issue of "Guns and Ammo" it has an article about AR-15 being super accurate and in the article the author talks about firing one of the new 450 Bushmasters and being hit in the lip with the charging handle when he fired the gun, and later talks about watching out for it when he fired an AR-15. So does the charging handle come back when ejecting each round?

  • If an Income statment says that the numbers are in thousands what does it mean?

If for example an income statement for a company says that all number are expressed in thousands than that would mean if it just had the number 1 for total assets then the total assets is 1,000. Is that correct? So if it said it had total assets fo 62,348 I would add 3 zeros to it to get the actual amount, right?

  • Trying to figure out the total fixed assets?

I am trying to figure out the total fixed assets so that I can figure the fixed asset turnover ratio. I am using the Income and Balance sheet for SHLD or Sears. Here is the link to both the balance sheet and the income statement.

    Income Statement

    http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=SHLD&annual

    Balance Sheet

    http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bs?s=SHLD&annual

Now I understand a fixed asset to be property plant equipmet or some type of tangible asset. So if I take the sales from the income statement from the 1st colum I would divide that by the fixed assets. However on the balance sheet there is the Property/Plant/Equipment amount and then at the bottom of the sheet there is Net Tangible assets. So my is which one do I use for fixed assets?

  • Need some professionals opions on these Red Dot Scopes?

I will be getting a DPMS AP4 here in January and I want a good red dot scope or something similar like a Holagraphic sight. I do not want to spend to much money and both of these scopes look pretty good, but I was wondering which one is better for fast acquisition of targets. I just using it for target shooting and maybe some competition. The reviews on both seem good and I am leaning towards Scope #2. I am open to additional suggestions if anybody has them.

  • I need to replace Deck steps, please help!?

I need to replace the steps off of my deck, I can build the steps just fine the question I have is should I put a concrete slab down for the steps to sit on so they don't rot as bad from being in the ground? If a concrete slab is the best way to go do I need to put gravel under the concrete to create I type of patform and give the concrete something to grab to(I have seen this done before), also do I need rebar, I would guess the actually concrete slab would only be 3 or 4 inches thick or should it be thicker with rebar?

  • Does either of these bikes offer a better workout?

My question is if a stationary uprigt bike offers a better workout than doing the same thing on a recumbent bike or vice versa? Or does that bike just offer different levels of comfort? I have included pictures of the 2 bikes I am considering, price is not important just which one offers the better work out. Picture #1 is the upright bike and Picture #2 is a recumbent bike.

  • How do you disassemble a German k98?

I have taken off the front metal piece and the top piece of wood, I took off the screws for the trigger guard and I thought that the trigger guard would just come out but it is stuck on the bottom end towards the front of the barrel. there is a small hole next to where the screw came out. I thought that is where the locking screw went, but maybe it is something else. Any help would be appreciated.

  • What do most professionals recommend?

If I were to go see a personal trainer and I told them I wanted to build muscle and lose fat, what would they tell me to do? In my highschool gym class we did weight lifting on Mon Wed and Fri and we ran around the track on Tues and Thurs. Would this be a good way to go with resting on Sat and Sun? The exercises would not last more than an hour.

  • Which is a better way to exercise?

I have been reading a lot about building mucsle and losing fat. On the one hand I have read to only work 1 muscle one day a week, ie abs/legs day1, shoulders/chest/triceps, day 2, biceps/traps/back day 3, Days being MON WED and FRI. This also includes eating right and eating more calories in a day than I expend inorder to build a lot of muscle. On the other hand I have read to work out MON WED and FRI, but do the same exercise each day so each day I would work legs/abs/biceps/triceps/shoulders/back, the exercise of which could take 1.5-2.5 hours. The first exercise plan has to take less than an hour each day. As I read if after 45min of working out the muscles have been fully stimulated and any longer working out will only decrease the work you have already done. I guess my real questions are is it better to work only a mucsle only once a week or more than once, should the work out be less than and hour or is more okay, and should I eat less or more calories than I expend.

I am starting a body building program and I am going to be drink about 3-4 protein shakes which would include drink about 40 ounces of milk a day. 8 ounces per shake for 3 and 1 16 ounce at bedtime. Is this amount of milk everyday going to cause problems, ie kidney stones is my biggest concern, or will it be okay since I will be doing high intensity owrkout and will be needing all the protein and calcium?
