Recycling. I have a garage full of infant toys, baby carriers, strollers but should i toss em or recycle?
Recycling. I have a garage full of infant toys, baby carriers, strollers, etc but should i toss em or recycle? they are DUSTY and im not sure id like to attempt cleaning them if i cant do it well enough. Im just afraid it will end up with a child in it and not fully clean. i dont have much time to do it properly. Should i toss it out or give it away as is (with minimal cleaning)???
6 AnswersNewborn & Baby8 years agoId like to compost. What do think of tossing scraps directly into the soil and burying them?
I do have a composter now which is essentially a plastic container with doors that spins. BUT, it tends to attract a lot of bugs. Im aware of a "proper" ratio of dry and wet but i dont always have the material available and its still a chore. Why not just toss my veggie scraps right on mulch or soil and rake it in? it seems to work... what do you think?
5 AnswersGarden & Landscape8 years agoAs a cook/chef, would you say there is a different experience when you COMBINE food items or MIX them?
So, i was watching a cook make breakfast tacos. He had tacos in which he layered beans and eggs on a flour tortilla. He said it would be easier to simply cook them together and serve them as a single item rather than add them separately. I said mixing them first and cooking them together creates a NEW experience (new flavor) as opposed to adding them separately prior to serving. What do you think? Does mixing food ingredients create new flavors versus just combining the same ingredients?

4 AnswersOther - Home & Garden9 years agoFood Safety and Chicken - Would Brining reduce contamination potential?
Per Men's health....Recent nationwide testing by Consumers Union, the advocacy group behind Consumer Reports, notes that of the 484 raw broilers examined, 42 percent were infected by Campylobacter jejuni, and 12 percent by Salmonella enterides.
My QUESTION:
Do you think BRINING (salt solution)the chicken will help minimize bacteria? Brining it will definitely help the chicken taste better and remain moist during the long cooking time.
