I let my vehicle warm up before I go anywhere but when I turn the control switch to defrost or floor heat it does nothing. What can I do to fix this problem?

I put a carb kit in the carb then I found out there was no spark on the plug. Installed new ignition module, now have great spark, but still will not start. I have great internet signal with twc but no sports channels as I have basic cable. I would like to see if a catv box will pick up espn and other channels or even history channel, amc, etc. etc

I do not get any sports channels with package that I have with twc .If I want to upgrade one step they double my price of internet and tv , can I hook up a dish DVR to get more channels?
