  • Good Quality Makeup in humidity?

So where I live its rather hot (like 76) and even if there are clouds its still humid and warm. Anywho..my house doesn't have air conditioning so its hard to stay cool as we only have two fans. What are some must have makeup items that are waterproof, smudge proof, flake proof and will all around survive humidity and won't make me feel sticky and gross? I'm looking for a good cruelty-free waterproof mascara, cream eyeshadow (that hopefully doesn't require a primer), eyeliner pen and lip stain? Are the Tarte Lip Surgence very moisturizing and long lasting? Also does anyone know of a good dupe for the Too Faced Lash Lining Tool? I love the concept but I don't like that its not waterproof. Does anyone know of any dupes that are waterproof? Thanks!:)

  • How do I get my mascara to look good?

So I'm left-handed and I've noticed that whenever I apply mascara to my left eye my eyelashes look all perfectly defined and volumized and nice and feathery-like but when I try to apply mascara to my right eye my eyelashes look like thick individual clumpy spider lashes and not feathery at all. Why is that? I heard that it has to do with what side you sleep on the most or whatever. Is that true? Is there anyway that I can make it so both sets of eyelashes look equally amazing when I apply mascara to them? Finally I apply mascara to the top side of my top eyelashes as well as the underneath part of my top lashes. I've noticed that when I apply mascara to the top of my top lashes that mascara ends up on my eyelid. Part of the reason I apply mascara to the top of my top eyelashes in the first place is to coat all my lashes equally and help enhance the curl (since my lashes are naturally curly I don't use a lash curler). Any ideas on how I can still use big brush mascara wands without worry about it transferring to my lid? Thanks!:)

  • Cruelty-free Skin Care Products?

What are some good cruelty-free skin care products? They need to also not contain any parabens or sulfates or other bad harmful chemicals that aren't necessary.

Face Cleanser (something that I can use for everyday)

Face Scrub (something that is natural and doesn't contain plastic beads as they are bad for the ocean)

    Face Toner

Face Moisturizer with SPF (something for everyday)

Face Mask (should I use a face mask or is using a face scrub once a week good enough?)

Eye Makeup Remover (something that removes waterproof mascara without making your eyes cloudy or stinging)

Eye Cream (I'm only 21 should I be concerned about using an eye cream yet?)

Night Cream (what sort of night cream should I use as I've never used a night cream before)

  • Makeup for Dark Brown Eyes?

I have dark brown eyes and fair skin and dark brown hair. I feel really jealous of girl who have blue eyes. Don't get me wrong I love my brown eyes...but when it comes to makeup, having brown eyes is a real pain. Girls with blue eyes get to wear brown eye makeup so their eyes pop while still looking natural. But because I have brown eyes I can't wear brown eye makeup because it looks gross. Also I like wearing colorful eye makeup...but the idea of wearing it everyday seems tacky. HELP! How can I come up with a good neutral eyeshadow palette that will compliment my brown eyes without necessarily using brown eyeshadow? Or what MAC. Eyeshadows are good for a neutral look for dark brown eyes? Thanks!:)

  • Best Summer Face Makeup?

I'm looking for a good brand of foundation/tinted moisturizer but don't know what to look for as far as formula goes. I need something that will even out my skin tone, cover up any redness (I'm starting to break out with red blemishes on my forehead and chin), won't clog my pores or look cakey, is lightweight and easy to blend, looks good in photos and can be worn everyday. Also I have like normal to dry skin I guess but I would like it if the foundation/tinted moisturizer could get rid of shine (since my T-zone is somewhat oily) so I won't have to use powder to set it. Finally the brand can't test on animals. Since summer is coming up I'd REALLY like to find my HG Face Product before then. Should I use powder or liquid?

  • Is the Too Faced Lash Lining Tool worth buying?

I've noticed that I've been applying my top eyeliner more thickly and I don't like it as it looks like too much. I want to have a more natural look when wearing eyeliner and I was wondering if the Too Faced Lash Lining Tool would help me achieve thinner more natural looking lines on my upper lashline? Does anyone know if this is waterproof or not? Also can you use it on your tightline? Thanks!:)

  • How come my mascara looks weird?

So I'm lefthanded and I've noticed lately that whenever I apply my mascara that the set of lashes on my left eye look nicely defined and separated but the set of eyelashes on my right eye look like clumpy sticks. Is it because I'm lefthanded that my left eye looks better than my right eye? Is there anything that I can do to fix it so that both sets of eyelashes look equally nice looking? Thanks!:)

  • Whats a good makeup routine?

Whats a good makeup routine that is quick and easy to still makes me look good. Today I went and played volleyball with some friends and I got all sweaty and gross and my eyes got somewhat watery. Anywho...I was wondering what a good makeup routine would be for me. Also I have dark brown eyes and am having trouble finding eyeshadow colors that look good on me. I'm jealous of people with blue eyes because they can wear shades of brown and make it into a natural look while still making their eyes pop because blue contrasts with brown. Any ideas? Thanks!:)

Here are the problems that I want to fix:

I don't want any shine on my face(I have like normal to combination skin)

    My complexion is uneven

My eyelids are oily and so I feel like I have to wear eyeshadow primer and eyeshadow. I've tried going out with just wp mascara and it smudged all over my eyelids and brow bone.

  • How come my mascara is sooo dry?

So I bought Covergirl Clump Crusher today and the formula is rather dry and it scratches my eyelashes when I try to apply it.:( Any ideas on good mascaras to pair with Covergirl Clump Crusher so that I don't have to throw it out? I need a waterproof mascara with a wet formula that gives tons of volume without the "too much mascara" look/texture.

  • How come my makeup looks weird in pictures?

I noticed that after my makeup is all blended and everything that if I try to take a picture of myself on my ipod touch that my face looks all discolored and oily and gross even though I just put on makeup to prevent that from happening. Why does my makeup look weird in pictures or when I try to take pictures and how can I fix it? Is there any sort of tinted moisturizer that can be used specially for pictures but can be used for everyday use and is also cruelty-free? I just need something that I can use everyday but works great for pictures and is lightweight and cruelty-free. Thanks!:)

  • Matte Finish Waterproof Eyeliners?

I have dark brown eyes and fair skin and I'm looking for some colorful eyeliners to compliment my brown eyes. I really want a purple, navy blue and green all with a matte finish. I really like Urban Decay eyeliners but I don't think they have any of those colors with a matte finish except for Sabbath which is a matte navy blue, I've seen swatches of it and it looks really dark...to those who actually own it does it even look blue to you? What are some good cruelty-free and/or vegan brands of waterproof eyeliner pencils that come in matte finishes of navy blue, purple, green and teal?

  • Question about Nighttime Skin Care Routine?

Should I have a separate day time and nighttime routine (using separate products for daytime and nighttime?) Whats a good Nightime Skin Care Routine like what are some basic products that you would recommend for someone who wants to start a nightime skin care routine? I think my skin type is sensitive/combination. Also I'm only 21 should I worry about anti-aging products? What about an eye cream should I worry about eye cream in general? Finally should I have just a daytime and nighttime skin care routine or should I switch up my skin care routine as the seasons change?
