Why aren't you allowed to have a function of, say:

And can you answer without just saying "because it means it's not a function anymore" or "Because it has 2 y values" because that is self-reference, not good basis for argument.

Before you write me off, hear me out.

Say there is a coin. You flip the coin. People say that there is a 50% chance it will land heads. However, if you were somehow able to meticulously measure and calculate the different variables like the weight of the coin, wind speed, flipping velocity etc., you would be able to work out the outcome of the toss-up, there would be no "chance" involved.

Alternatively, if you had a computer "flip" a coin, you could see its programming and work out whether the next flip will be heads or tails.

This Meticulous Calculation can apply to and "chance" event from economics to who will land on Park Place in Monopoly.

So my question is, what actually is chance and does it exist?

The sun is a star, just like the rest of the ones in our galaxy, but why is it we can stare at potentially thousands, but not at our one sun, if they're the same thing?

I have an EPSON scanner and a Windows XP. Every time I plug in my scanner to the computer, three low fast beeps sound and the scanner cannot be detected.
