8 AnswersWords & Wordplay9 years agoWill God the Father of Jesus accept Catholics into heaven?
Even though they continually pray to Mary and others who have died even though Jesus directs His people to go through Himself (John 14:6)
23 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoIs Obamacare now invalid because the Supreme Court called it a tax?
Section 1 Article 7 of the U.S.Constitution states all revenue bills must originate in the house. The bill that was adopted started as house bill 3590 which was a completely unrelated topic. The senate then gutted it and completely replaced every word of it to get their bill - so it was created from a shell bill. The constitution allows the senate to propose amendments but not much more. "we the people" have the right to have the laws come out of DC constitutionally correct. Revenue/tax bills cannot be birthed in the senate - neither can they be birthed in the judicial branch.
7 AnswersGovernment9 years agoShouldn't Warren Buffett's secretary, Debbie Bosanek, be given an April 10th bonus?
Warren could call it a "use this to pay your taxes" bonus. The bonus could be equivalent to her 'taxes paid' line on her tax form. That way Warren could pay her taxes for her and it solves the problem of Warren paying too few taxes and Debbie paying too much.
1 AnswerGovernment9 years agowhy does anyone repeat the lie that the $38.5B federal spending reduction is the largest ever?
it is a ludicrous statement that is unbelievable and not truthful on it face. Any comparison would need to be compared with the size of budget in previous years.

1902 reduction = 7.6%
1905 reduction = 2.9%
1916 reduction = 4.4%
1920 reduction = 66%
1921 reduction = 20%
1922 reduction = 35%
1923 reduction = 4.5%
1924 reduction = 7.4%
1927 reduction = 2.5%
1933 reduction = 1.3%
1935 reduction = 1.9%
1937 reduction = 7.9%
1938 reduction = 9.8%
1946 reduction = 40%
1947 reduction = 38%
1948 reduction = 13%
1954 reduction = 6.9%
1955 reduction = 3.4%
1 AnswerGovernment1 decade agoWill Boehner start the 2012 budget negotiations at a $1,500B spending reduction so the taxpayers can save...?
$750B when the negotiations meet in the middle? The $38.5B spending reduction in the FY2011 election was a pittance compared to what is needed to prevent a US bankruptcy.
1 AnswerGovernment1 decade agoWhy don't democrats understand that, when you raise taxes, revenues go down?
It's simple - if a store raises prices what happens? Fewer shoppers buying fewer things means revenue goes down

4 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoWhich 10 states are the ones planned for SEIU's/Lerner's "10 state mobilization"?
I am simply wondering where the economic terrorism incubated at Pace University is planned to take place.
1 AnswerLaw & Ethics1 decade agoAre there any (class action) lawsuits against SEIU and Stephen Lerner, collectively and individually,...?
seeking, first, a cease & desist order for the planned activities to destabilize 'wall street' & morgan chase and, secondly, to have restitution to all stock, ira, 401a, 401k, sep, union pension account, calpers, and state and fed pension fund, and thrift holders? I want restitution from any individuals, unions, Pace Univ, and community groups complicit in making my and my neighbors' ira lose value.

3 AnswersCleaning & Laundry1 decade agoWill the dead guy voting in (?) have more influence on an election if the electoral college were scrapped?
Will the dead guy who votes in (insert name of city or town) have more influence on an election if the electoral college were scrapped? Right now, it seems, the influence of corruption stops at the state line. That likely would not be the case if the electoral college went away. What do you think?

1 AnswerElections1 decade agowhat can we do to save the electoral college?
Considering the electoral college is the testament to states' rights, it is surprising to see the push to dump the electoral college start at the state level. For the sake of the USA, what can we do to save, preserve, and protect the electoral college system

2 AnswersElections1 decade agowhy would anyone ever want to get rid of the electoral college?
If a dead guy votes in Wisconsin, it negates your vote if you do not live in Wisconsin. In other words, it puts barriers between corruption at the state lines. If the electoral college did not exist in 2000, the whole nation would.have required a recount. Just imagine the even greater mess.
4 AnswersElections1 decade agoIs this Congress trying to spend the US into poverty?
