  • Can you put a box blade on a tractor that doesn't have hydraulics?

We're looking at buying an older model 28hp Kubota tractor that is already equipped with a finish mower. To my knowledge, the tractor does not have hydraulics. Would it be possible to still use a box blade on the front of the tractor to smooth out dirt piles and gravel or would a newer tractor with hydraulics be required?

    Thanks for your help!

  • Can I leave this job off of my resume?

I worked at a company for 3 years- at one point I quit for 3 months and went to work at a bank, but then decided that I didn't like the bank and wanted to go back to my old job. So, they hired me back.

Would it be wrong to not list the bank job and just leave the first job on my resume, not even noting the 3 month gap? I would never use anyone at the bank for reference and I don't think it would be a problem with my employer. I mean, I took 6 weeks off when I had my baby- you wouldn't list that as time off on your resume. Right?

  • Is it normal to dialate in the first 10 weeks of pregnancy??

My sister-in-law is pregnant with her second child. She is right at 10 weeks. She had her first "real" Dr.'s appt. today where they did the full pelvic exam. Her Dr. told her that she was already dialted to a one. Is this normal??

She was very concerned, but her Dr. told her that unless she was cramping or bleeding that this was okay. I've never ever heard of anyone dialating that soon. Should she be worried about a miscarriage or is this something that has happened to other mothers out there?

Any thoughts would surely ease both of our minds. Thanks!

  • Math Help Needed!!?

Okay, I reallllly need some help with my college algebra homework. I'm 20 and just started back to college. My last high school math class was my Sophmore year, so I've sort forgotten a lot that I had learned. Right now we're going over functions. There are word problems that we must solve. Right now I'm so close to failing the class that it's not even funny. :(

If I can just pass this class, I'll never have to have Math EVER again! YAY! If anyone could help me I would appreciate it soooo much!!

The book we have is the Seventh Edition College Algrera book by Sullivan.

    The problem is:

Let P=(x,y) be a point on the graph of y=x2 (squared) -8.

Express the distance d from P to the point (1,0) as a function of x.

    What is d if x=0?

    What is d if x= -1

For what values of x is d smallest?

    Thanks again!!

  • What are some good tips for sticking with exercise?

It's a new year, it's time to start working out again. ;)

It seems like I go through it every year. I start to work out and eat better and then when I don't see instant results, I get get depressed, start to feel "fat", decide that exercise is useless and give up. :(

I'm pretty much at that point again right now. I'm trying to motivate myself to exercise, but was wondering what everyone else does to make themselves stick to it. How do you maintain a healthy lifestyle without getting burnt out?

  • What's up with the seats in a '95-'97 model Honda Passport?

My dad recently inherited a Honda Passport from his father who recently passed away. It's either a '95 or '97 model (I'm not quite sure). Anyhow, he's been complaining that he can't get the seat to scoot far enough back. He's 5'10", but has never had this problem with any other vehicle before. We've even previously owned Honda's before and they've always been plently roomy. Has anyone else experienced this problem with the Passport seats or are his perhaps broken? He said they barely scoot back and then lock...leaving him scrunched up while driving. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

  • Which chi is the best?

My hair is finally starting to get long again! I've had it short for several years now. When it was long before, I would always roll the bottoms with hot rollers so that I would have some curl. These days though, it seems that straight hair is more fashionable.

My hair, however, has a natural kind of wave to it, so it never looks good just "straight". What kind of chi would you guys suggest to straighten it every morning? I'm looking for good quality, but not too expensive. Maybe in the $20- $30 dollar range??

  • If Limewire isn't legal, then what is??

I was under the impression that downloading music from Limewire was perfectly legal. A cheap solution to iTunes.

One of my friends was telling me that downloading music from them was basically the same as piracy, even though you pay a monthly subscription. I'm all about downloading music for cheap, but I don't want to end up getting in serious trouble for it.

For someone like me who may only download 5-10 songs per month, $20 for Napster hardly seems worth it. Do any of you have any thoughts on this? What's the real scoop..is Limewire illegal??

If so, what is a cheap LEGAL alternative??

    Thanks!

  • Can you help me find a particular MySpace comment?

Okay, at one point I was browsing myspace comments and found one with Jessica Simpson that said "Oh my Gah!". My friend finds that hilarious, so I wanted to post it on her myspace.

I've been searching forever now I can't find where I saw it before.

    :(

Has anyone seen this comment that I'm referring to? Can you help me find it??

    Thanks!

  • What is the best anti-virus software for your home PC?

Okay-- I'm getting cable internet at my house today.

I realize that with cable, the internet will always be connected.

Thus, I DEFINITELY need antivirus software. However, I do not want to pay an arm and a leg for protection. :(

Is there any cheap anti-virus stuff out there that will work just as well??

Also-- what suggestions do you guys have for keeping viruses away from you home PC??

    Thanks!

  • What is HDTV?

I have sort of a silly question, but here goes:

I'm looking to buy a new TV in the next couple of months and was wondering what exactly the hype is with HDTV?

There was a TV on display at WM that was a widescreen HDTV. Sitting next to the SDTV's, the picture looked very fuzzy. Is HDTV something that you have to order from your cable company??

    Thanks for help.

  • Do you humidifiers work?

    I have a cold. (Yuck!)

I can't breathe, I'm all stuffed up, I feel groggy.

I'm taking Tylenol Cold and Sinus-- NOT WORKING

    Sudafed Strips- NOT WORKING

NyQuil- KNOCKS ME OUT, BUT I'M NOT HEALED :(

    Please help!! :(
