  • My 8 year old doesn't want to behave for me or my husband anymore.?

The best description I can come up with is that she's becoming a young teenager, but she's too young for the attitude that she has been having recently. Is this normal for children this age? What is the best way to handle her antics when she acts out? She's a sweet child most of the time, but she's definitely going through something. She's back talking, arguing and sometimes acts mean to her sisters. I don't want her to become out of control. Is it just because she doesn't get as much attention as she used to or could there be something else going on? Thanks for any advice.

  • Catholics, do you know that the Pope is really the antichrist?

In Revelation it talks about the number 666.

And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." -Revelation 13:17-18

Take a look at the titles that the pope holds...

    In Latin:

    Vicarius Filii Dei

Take a look at the roman numerals of this title and add them up. They equal 666.

    THE LITERAL MEANING:

VICARIVS - substituting for, or in place of

    FILII - means son

    DEI - means God

Also in Latin we have DVX CLERI and LVDOVICVS. Both are official titles of the Pope and both when you add up the roman numerals of the letters equal 666.

    Now Greek:

    I Protera

    LATEINOS

    And in Hebrew:

    ROMITI

Look it up for yourself they all equal 666.

There is one other name that equals 666 and it is the name for Satan in Greek.

    TEITAN

The Vatican often refers to itself as SANCTA LVX DEI

Put Roman Numerals to this and then add them up. What do you get?

Interesting that all of these titles come up with the number 666 when you add the roman numerals. One more thing...

With the title SANCTA LVX DEI: If you remove all the letters that do not have numeric values, you are left with... SANTAE. If you slide the "N" to the right two spaces like you can in the name "SANTA" you will end up with, "SATANE" The word SATANE = SATAN in LATIN!

    Interesting isn't it.

  • What is the best way to prove an exemption to the court?

We have had a garnishment to our checking account. A good portion of this money was my oldest daughter's child support. My husband is going in front of the court to try and prove that this money is exempt, however I'm being told that it could be hard to prove, even though I'm getting my bank statements and it's clear how much is child support money in the account. What is the best way to prove this. Thanks.

  • My husband has some weeping coming from his testicles?

What could be causing it and is it any reason for concern? It started suddenly 2 days ago with bleeding. Now it's just kind of a yellowish fluid coming though the skin itself.

  • When I nurse my baby I get light-headed...?

Has anyone else experienced this or know what might be causing it? I eat well so I doubt it would be that. It has gotten worse over the past couple days and is much worse today. I can't stand up for 30 minutes after nursing without feeling like I'll pass out. I don't have insurance so going to the Dr would be a last resort option.

  • My 5 year old is very picky...?

She will only eat a handful of things; chicken or fish and fries, cheese pizza, spaghetti, green beans, mandarin oranges and apples. She drinks a little milk and lots of water. What can I do to try getting her to try new things. She refuses to try new things and is determined that she won't like them. We can't afford to keep feeding her separate from the rest of us just because she is picky. We can't let her do without because she will go without eating altogether (we have tried it, she didn't eat for a week and I was concerned so we started cooking her something separate). The doctors said she won't go hungry, she will eat when she is good and ready, but I disagree with that. I was picky as a child, but not nearly as picky as she was. Any ideas would be very helpful. Thanks.

  • I have a 2 month old who is strictly nursed...?

After she eats she is very fussy, even after she has burped well. This can continue for up to an hour after she has eaten. I will give her gripe water, which helps out some, but someone suggested trying fennel tea for her. Is this safe and if so, what is the best way to make and give it to her. She will not take a bottle. I bought some fennel seeds, but I don't know how much to mix with water. Can someone help please. Thanks

  • I'm teaching my 5 year old about the beatitudes?

She can grasp some of the information that I've given her, but she is having trouble understanding some too. Anyone try teaching this to young children, have you had any trouble with it? What are some of the thoughts that you have gotten from children on this and what is the best way to help them understand. My 5 year old is pretty smart and can understand fairly well. She is learning on a 1st grade level. Thanks for your help.

PLEASE KEEP COMMENTS TO THE QUESTION. Be nice in your answers.

  • When did Christianity become a do for myself first...?

I was talking to a supposed Christian the other day and they asked why I put others before myself. So when did Christianity become a put myself before others religion? I have always been taught to put God first, then other people and myself last. Are Christians still taught this or am I part of a dying faith?

  • Did you know that anyone who has had children can understand God's love for us?

God's love for us is like our love for our children. What have they ever done to earn our love? Nothing. Yet we love them anyway. We love them even when they do things that make us mad. So why can't people understand Christianity?

  • If all Muslims are to take a pilgrimage to Mecca...?

How do those who are incapacitated or financially unable to do this accomplish the feat? From what I understand there is a lot of walking (and running) during this time. If you don't do it then what?

  • How do you explain the sin of Pride?

I have a friend who is a new Christian and can't understand why we don't participate in most sports and don't keep score when we do play. She doesn't understand that pride in what you do is a sin. We do what we do as glory to God, not because we are proud of ourselves or our accomplishments. What can I say to make her understand this concept? She tells her daughter to take pride in her looks and I can't get her to understand that she is teaching her daughter to sin. We wear what we do because that is what God wants for us, not because it's what we want for ourselves. I've never had someone learning from me who can't seem to grasp this concept and I'm at a complete loss as to what to do other than going to the church leaders. I don't want to do that to her.

  • Will it ever be possible...?

for Muslims to get along with other faiths? In the Quran it tells them that they are to convert all non believers to Islam and not to rest until everyone believes in Allah. I've yet to find reason to leave my Christian faith and upbringing. And I've spent time talking to Muslims and reading the Quran.

  • Having "Open the Quran Day?"?

Are Muslims not afraid of what we may find out if such a day existed? From everything that I've read and learned, Islam is a religion of war. Should we have an open the Bible day too? Or an open the Holy book day that way it would cover all religions and everyone choose whichever one they want to learn more about.

  • Christians, if you had to, would you give up everything that you owned to follow God?

I had a friend of mine say that she would never be able to live the way that we do in my faith, because we make it with so little. I'm just curious how many of you think that way?
