  • How do I know which router to purchase?

We will soon need to replace our current router, as it's not functioning properly. There are so many out there to choose from that I don't know where to start, and the store clerks aren't exactly helpful, and usually try to steer you toward something bigger (and thus more expensive) than you really need. Anyone have any guidance for me? This is for home use, with 2, maybe 3 computers being used.

  • Is your turkey cooking yet?

Mine's been in the roaster for about an hour. I made rolls last night, cranberry sauce is chilling, desserts are all made. Still have to cook squash and potatoes, and put the rest of the stuffing into the oven. We have a 25 lb. bird, but couldn't fit all the stuffing into it.

I heard on the radio this morning that Drew is now involved with a group that's promoting the use of medicinal marijuana. Will CBS tolerate this, or will he be off TPIR?

  • Any piano tuners out there?

I've recently become interested in learning how to tune pianos and am wondering if someone could give me some personal advice on becoming a tuner. I've looked online and seen what's available out there, but would like to hear from someone who's actually learned.

    Serious answers only, please.

  • What do you use to control fleas on your cats & dogs?

I put Hartz UltraGuard plus on both my dogs and cats a couple weeks ago, and it's done NOTHING to help with their fleas. What products do you use that will do a better job?

  • Meat rubs?

I've heard a lot about meat rubs over the past several years, but until last evening, I had never tried them. I used Grill Mates pork rub on spare ribs, and we really liked it. Now I'm wondering what other people use and like?

  • Social Security check taken back from deceased person?

My mother died a few years ago on the 4th of November. Shortly afterward, Social Security notified me that they were taking back her SS check for November. I didn't question it, and figured it was because she died so close to the first of the month. This past January 24th my aunt died, and again, SS took back her January check. (I was responsible for the affairs for both of them.) My question is this: has anyone else had this happen to them? Did you contest it, and with what results? I think it's wrong, and believe that if a person was alive at any point during the month, that they are entitled to a SS check for that month. Frankly, in the cases of both my mother and aunt, the money wasn't needed by them for that month, but my concern lies with those recipients who desperately depend upon that money to survive. I haven't yet decided whether or not to pursue this issue, but I'm just looking for advice from others who may have been in the same situation.

  • Looking for Chocolate Ganache cake recipe?

Last spring I purchased a Chocolate Ganache cake at a Market Basket grocery store in New Hampshire. It was absolutely delicious, and just about melted in your mouth. I'd love to find the recipe they use, or one very similar. Anyone have one?

  • After you shower.....?

Here's a question I heard on Family Feud a long time ago, and no one got the number 1 answer.

After you shower, name the body part you dry off first. (and keep your answers clean!)

I'll edit my question and add the correct answer after I get a bunch of responses so you can see what the players missed. But let me warn you - EVERY time I'm drying off, this question comes to mind! LOL!

  • Why don't people spell out words correctly and completely when asking questions?

Honestly, what is it with people? Not only is it harder to understand some of the questions, but it just looks and sounds downright ignorant! I'm a lot more apt to answer a question when the words are spelled out fairly correctly. And in case you haven't noticed, above the space where you enter your question, there's this place that reads "Check Spelling". It's almost like magic! After you're done typing, hit that button, and just like that - it tells you what words are spelled incorrectly! What more could you ask for! So, say it with me, folks......"I will use the spell check feature before posting my questions!"

    Much better!

I belong to several Yahoo! groups. People will sometimes send pictures along with their posts, but I can never see them. Where the picture should be I see the message "attachment not stored". Is there a setting I should be changing? What's the solution?
