When I go to fill my birds dishes in the am the top layer is usually the hulls from the the eaten seed. Is there such a contraption that can be used for straining the whole dish so there is not so much waste of the good seeds left in the dish. I use a spoon to skim the hulls but there's always so much wasted good seed. Any ideas. Thanks

He was a free flier he always came home we live in the country. We he and I have a certain whistle I'd whistle and he'd screech letting me know where he was. Today while working in the yard I heard him and saw him way up in the trees. He was playing hide and seek with me. I have left a cage on the deck for him. He's been gone almost 2 mos. Could he be living in a bird house and eating at bird feeders he comes across? I plan on whistling for him again tomorrow. Has anybody ever had this happen?
