Is it possible that a petrified piece of wood -?
A week ago while sitting next to another's wood stove it became apparent that the wood in the bucket was petrified, and that one of the 20" (approx) pieces actually looked like a purposely split piece of kindling! His source for the pieces was an area in south texas where it had been determined that petrified wood there is at least 3 million years old. this is older than our present day civilization I know.
How large of an improbability factor is it that this is a piece of kindling from another civilization? Thank YOu Very Much -
2 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 year agoMy Remington RM2bl leaf blower . . . ?
My older model Remington leaf blower stopped blowing air again. I repaired it a while ago and it worked fine for a half a dozen tanks of fuel or so but had stopped blowing air again. It probably needs some Loctite this time but I forgot how to get the access door open and can not fine any info or directions like I did the last time.
I need the voice of experience. Thank You Very Much -

15 AnswersPhysics2 years agoCrow Boxes?
We would like to have a simple crow box somewhere on our property in order to leave them some shiny objects.
But where do we put it?
We have heard that crows are a bit skittish, wary if you will.
We have a plant crowded area, an open area where we couldn't observe them behind a garage type building, and a lawn which is about 40 x 50 that would be visible to us.
Any suggestions would be appreciated..
Experience would be most beneficial. Thanks

3 AnswersPhysics2 years agoWhat is the best way to remove...?
The water spots on my car's paint are annoying. The car s been recently waxed with Maguires so I hosed it down and ran a sponge over it to remove rain dirt when I came home. It looked ok but after it dried the water spots showed up. I tried Maguire's Detailer Spray to no avail.
SHould I just rewash/wax it with Maguire's?
How much Vingar would I want to add to a gallon of water to spray down the car for my own "spot free rinse"? Would this work on dried water (spots?) Thanks!

4 AnswersDiet & Fitness3 years agoWhy does mainstream science insist the Egyptians built the Giza Pyramids when there is no hard evidence to prove it.?
There have been no tools found that would back up this Theory any where for this structure as well as the amazing rock sculptors in Peru and elsewhere throughout the world.
Isn t there more proof of ancient civilizations in the Oceans of the world that would accommodate an ancient civilization Theory than not?
Yes, I realize people have to have an "answer" even if it is wrong, but would not wisdom and common sense be more forthright in saying, "nobody knows" which might tip the scales for an ancient peoples? And thus lead to more honest interpretations of the mystery s that surround us?

The object was very visible from the USVI with a tail but was also reported as being seen from Virginia w/o a tail. It seemed to be travelling SW.
Reported to be coming down it could also have been travelling at an angle towards the S-SW.
My 1st inclination was the Space Station however from one who keeps track of when will be visible, noted that it was not do to be visible until approx. 6 in the evening. Thanks!

Is there any doubt it was built from the inside out? If so, how was it possible? There is no evidence to the contrary.
1 AnswerEngineering3 years agoWhy did the builders of the Great Pyramids...?
Looking up this morning at Orion, I had to stop and wonder why did these great engineers so perfectly align their structures with Orion? Yes because they wanted to show the future what they could do, and most certainly they did! Was it because they also knew Orion to be a long lasting Constellation, or more to the point that their was some other reason, Astronomically? Such as they were the last of their ilk and this great building project was their last hurrah?
7 AnswersAstronomy & Space3 years agoGamma Rays, too far away?
The local newspaper had an article about the Neutron Stars colliding. It was a fairly interesting article giving the particular's, and even mentioned the gravitational waves being recorded, however, it ended by saying that the 130 million light years away event would no bother us even if the Gamma Ray Burst was aimed at the Earth!
Is this correct? Thanks!
