I have an older Dell latitude cp laptop that has never been online. I has an old version of windows (98) and an OLD version of IE (5 i think)

I am trying to get a wireless router hooked up to it to get it online but the router says it needs a newer version of IE but i cant get online to download a newer version because i need the router.

Is there anyway around this catch 22?

I have a chihuahua whom is a therapy dog (goes into nurseing homes, schools, hospitals ect). He has been a therapy dog for 4.5 years. We have visited the same nurseing home/assited living place for all five years. This place opened in November 4 yrs ago. and we started going December of that year. We go monthly.

In that time there has been one main older lady we have become very close to and she absolutely LOVES my chihuahua.

Unfortunately, I am moving 5 states away in less then 2 months. I would like to get her something to remember my boy by.

My question is what can i do or make (im crafty) to help ease her pain of us leaving. I have already told her we would be moving soon and she got very sad and cried. She just held onto my boy forever.

I plan on going on Wednesday to just visit her and not the rest of the residents and then we will visit one more time at our normal Oct. vist. with everyone there.

How can I ease her pain of loseing my boy. She has tons of pictures of him already. As i take in his xmas ones to her yearly. I do plan on getting profesional ones done once more before I leave and she will get a copy of that.

But what else is there I can help her?

Is it possilbe to change the beginning of the IP address. I know how to change the last 2 sets of numbers but I need to see if i can either change or BLOCK the IP all together.

Is there a ways to block it completely without having to purchase a seperate program?
