I have a 1999 Ford cargo van and the fuel gage is always on full.
I took out the fuel pump and float assembly and checked the float with a meter and the meter rose gradually as I lifted the float. So it's not the float sensor , What else could it be?

When I use the water its ok but when I switch to ice, the light goes dim, no ice comes out and if I hold it for a minute it shuts down the refrigerator. The lights in the refrigerator stay on but it doesn't start the compressor to bring the temperature down.
I have to unplug the refrigerator and wait for about 10 minutes and then everything works fine as long as I use it constantly Can anyone tell me what is wrong? I am very handy and can replace parts but I don't know witch one.
