I'm from Australia and I travel often, I'm aware certain countries are more strict than others. But a lot of people comment to me how hard it is to get into. I had a close friend from wales go through an incredibly long, expensive process that really pissed him off but Im not aware of it obviously.

Okay, basically the past 6 months an older man who I work with has been groping me in an inappropriate way. Grabbing my boobs, bum and cornering me in certain rooms trying to kiss me. He is married with 4 kids and I'm in my early 20's. I've told him to stop and always avoid him and because I'm casual where I work.. I always schedule my shifts around his so I don't have to see him.

Anyway, I made a complaint two weeks ago to the manager as I felt like it should be brought up as I wouldn't want a young girl to start working where I am and for it I maybe happen to her as it isn't fair.

My manager asked me if I would like to file a complaint against him or for it to be anonymous. I chose for it to be anonymous as I like my job and love the people I work with.. I didn't want to create an awkward atmosphere as we have to work in a team. My manager ended up handing out paper work about discrimination and about behaving in the right way with your work colleagues.

She also spoke to him and he flat out denied everything of course.

I found out that there has been 2 other people before me that have made me the same complaints.. One lady being very angry about it and leaving.

I am quite a strong person so this hasn't affected my life outside of work just in work but I'm pretty good with brushing things off.

I told my mum and two best friends about this and all 3 of them say he should of been fired. This never occurred to me as I'm unsure what happens in these situations.. What should of been the right thing for my work to do?

I'm not trying to be rude, this is a genuine question.

Men ask you out on dates when you have nothing in common with them. And I noticed travelling, when I was in Europe.. Apart from the UK of course.. Most European countries I visited, any English spoken by men was very limited. I got annoyed at some of the persistence of men wanting to take you out... This may sound rude but how can I possibly sit at dinner with someone when they can't understand what I'm saying? And I don't speak their language.

I work with this Indian guy at the moment and he seems fine but he is quite annoying and always asks to go out for coffee with me on the weekend. His English is extremely bad.. Often I speak and have to repeat myself 7 times. Yet he follows me around and told me he wants me to be his girlfriend.. Wtf?!?!? I could never date someone with limited English as they wouldn't understand my sarcasm and humour. Is this just me?

What is it? They aren't painful but on one of my eyes there is more so when I blink it hurts slightly. They look really ugly and I've had them for the past couple weeks.. I don't care that much but I have really big eyes and don't wear make up.. Oh and have very white skin haha so they are so obvious! I work in customer service so I am constantly making eye contact, I would like them to go away. Anyone know what it could be? I have had a couple tiny red lumps like this on my upper eye lids before as well. I googled eye styes but the image was of a lump that had made the eye swell.. My eye isn't swollen. Any help would be much appreciated :)

Why do they not provide you with a flashlight at the door?

You could buy a white shirt and then walk outside and realise it is actually light purple. I got forced to go in there today *shudder* .. It was pitch black with the most awful music and tacky looking clothing. Why do so many people shop here? Im genuinely interested as the store was so busy.

I know not France, well the French aren't so keen on the English.. I'm sorry but they think they are superior or something.

What countries do England generally have high opinions on? I see the UK/America debates on here constantly but that isn't accurate on what they think of each other right?

I mean I feel for people who are homeless, I really do but then there's other people who come up and ask for money.. And they smell of cigarettes and alcohol, so I don't want to give them any change and I don't like it when they act rude if you say no. Of course I don't know what anyone else's circumstances are but I work hard for my money and am still paying off school fees... I can't afford to spare change. I find it a little rude being approached while I'm on the phone or with someone and being asked. Is this just me? I have given out change before, more so to girls or someone who looks like they really need food but other than that, no.

Just curious, you don't hear this word much in conversation obviously so I wasn't sure.

What is the best way to do this?

I'm sending it back to Australia to friends. Basically I want to buy quite a few packs of munchers chips, pop tarts, Reece's pieces and a few other things.. Kool aid as well. The bag would probably weigh like 10kg. I'm currently in the states, New York and want to send it from here. I'm still travelling for another 2 months so there's no way I want to carry it. I leave in 2 days back to the uk so I need to organise the shipping now. Any advice or comments would be much appreciated. Thanks :)

You go into stores like for example, urban outfitters which is ridiculously overpriced and the clothes all say made in china, so why are they so much?

Or you buy a top which is like $80 and its made in china again.

Why do they charge so much for clothes that are cheap to make there? I know this sounds ridiculous but it makes me happy when I see something that says, made in the usa or Canada or the uk, Australia etccc cause everything has china on it.

Seriously, what is with people now days who just spit on the side walk. I think it is just disgusting and such bad manners.

If I have to spit, I would grab a tissue and walk away from people and place it in the bin.

I find it vile. If I see someone do it when I'm in a city/town or wherever, I glare at them in disgust. What ever happened to manners?

Ugh and when you're walking and look at the ground and see a big chunk of saliva.

It's something that annoys me because I find it rude to stare, I might take a second glance at someone if they have outrageous hair perhaps but if then, no.

I'm 22 and girls around my age I find look at me. Is it a competion? ... No! Do I care what you're wearing?... No! It bugs me.

Especially when a girl is with her boyfriend and does it in a rude way. No I am not checking out your boyfriend and I don't care what he looks like!!!

I am from Australia but lived in Canada for a few years when I was younger and with my mum being Canadian.. I have a Canadian passport as well as an Australian.

I am going to be in the USA for just over a month but most of that time will be spent in Canada with family.

I will enter the United States with my Canadian passport so do I need an esta?

Also I'm actually flying from the UK, London as well just to make things a bit more annoying haha.

Anyone know please? I fly out soon an have yet to apply for an esta but I don't want to run into problems with immigration. I went on the esta website and Canada wasn't on the list of countries to select from.
