I usually use Adobe Illustrator but I just started using Gimp. I understand how to use all the tools, but there seems to be one missing, the selection tool. In Adobe Illustrator there is a selection tool, used to select objects you have just created and move them or make them bigger or smaller. So my question is::

What is the Gimp version of the Adobe Illustrator selection tool?

I have a gymnastics meet Memorial Day weekend and I'm flying down early to visit family, so I need to book my own flights. I need a round trip ticket for a nonstop flight.

I want to leave on 5/27/11 around noon and return 5/31/11 around 9/10am.

What airline would have inexpensive flights or special promos for Memorial Day weekend or because I'm a miner (16)?

I have tried multiple curl enhancers mainly from Pantene and Herbal Essences, but none of them have worked as well as I hoped they would have. I would like my hair to have less frizz and more shine.

Any suggestions?

This summer my family and some of our relatives will be staying in Cocoa Beach.

We would like a beach house either on the beach or in walking distance (less than 1/4 mile).

There are 11 (3 sets of parents and 6 kids) of us, but we only need three bedrooms IF there is a large family room (separate from the living room) for all the kids to sleep in.

Otherwise 5 bedrooms are needed.

Price can be a little high because it will be split between three families.

My siblings and I always make smoothies in the summer, but have been having trouble making sure they each have a good amount of each ingredient. We usually make it with: fruit, vanilla yogurt, milk and ice. What would be a good amount of each of these? I don't need specific recipes just, in general how much of each ingredient should I have?

ex: how many cup(s) of milk, vanilla yogurt and ice? how many pieces of fruit?

I'm a fifteen year old girl (from the US) and me and my family will be going to Italy this summer. This will be our first summer vacation in Europe (we have done spring and winter, but it was all too cold to wear shorts). So, is it okay to wear short shorts in regular towns and cities in Italy? I know for churches you have to have covered shoulders and modest pants. We will mainly be in Umbria and Rome. Thanks a million :)

My hair used to be very curly, but after straightening almost everyday for one year, two years ago it has lost some of its curl. Now, its more wavy, but is almost straight if I don't scrunch it and use Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves.

So, I was wondering what would be a good product to make my hair curly and where can I find it?

My family is going to Italy next summer and my parents said my little sister (who will be 13 when we go) and I (who will be 15 when we go) can pick a few places we would like to see/ go to. ~your appetite? I used to eat a regular sized meal 3x a day with one snack after school, but now I eat a very small amount of food and am stuffed but then need to eat like 3-4 hours later
