I need info about a rifle. Bolt action, non detatchable magazine, rear sight folds up with a sliding mechanism for distance adjustments. The only markings on it are M1831 on the receiver and 1831 on the bolt handle. The rear portion of the bolt has4110 stamped on it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The box says: "The Federal Classic Rifled Slug with a proven, hollow point design and single piece wad delivers consistent performance, improved accuracy, and reduced felt recoil in smoothbore shotguns." Should I use these in a rifled barrel or should I get slugs without rifling?
