Best Blow-dryer for Cos student?
I'm in beauty school and I'm looking for a good blow dryer, but I'm not sure what to look for. Could someone tell me if there's certain things I should be looking for in a dryer? My price range is up to $100 since I'm still a student I'm not look for anything extraordinary. I also would want one that either comes with attachments (like a diffuser and the concentrator) or is able to adopt any attachment I find.
Thanks
2 AnswersHair1 decade agoBlood Work/Cholesterol question?
My blood work came back as "Normal"
My cholesterol results are:
188 Cholesterol
179 Triglycerides
56 HDL
96 LDL
(and my blood sugar was 77)
Now I'm a little concerned because some of my numbers are pretty high (though only called borderline high on most websites I checked.)
Should I be concerned? I'm 18 and not overweight. And I didn't fast before the test (if that matters)

2 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoNative American Heritage?
I have a little Blackfoot and Cherokee in my blood. My aunt and grandma tell me that we are directly related to a "Princess Vine" the chief's daughter (they couldn't remember the chief's name). Is there any way I can find out who that was? and Is this something that is common for everyone, the same way many people can trace their ancestors back to British Royalty so often?

I have a pair of Dance slippers that I want to mount in a Shadow box. I've been researching, but I couldn't find anything. I don't necessarily want them to stay in there permanently. Is that possible to mount it, then be able to take it back out whenever you want without damage? If so, how would I mount it without keeping it there permanently and without damaging it? Thanks.

5 AnswersComedy1 decade agoDs Browser Game for Original DS?
I would like a DS Browser game for Christmas. I'm having a hard time researching it though. I have the original DS, not the Lite. Is the game available for the original? I also would like to know if there is a valid website that I may purchase it off of. I do know that it is not too fast, but I'm not worried about speed. Any and all information would be appreciated!!!
(And yes I know it's not really a game, but internet.)
p.s. please read my question thoroughly. I did not ask if the DS Browser Lite would work on my original DS.

6 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoRubik's Cube?
Hi, I would like a Rubik's Cube for Christmas, but I'm not sure which is better to get; the 4x4 or 3x3? I've never done one before, but I read someone's online review and they said the 3x3 is easy... I want it challenging, but not too challenging that I give up and put it on the shelf. I think I should shoot for the 3x3 for beginner, but I don't want to waste time or money lol. Anybody who can help me would be very much appreciated.
Thanks! ^_^

Hi, I have this extra credit thing in school that I have to answer this question and so do other people. Whoever gets the best answer wins the points. I thought I would get a good mix of answers through the internet and through here. Science, Technology, and Society: Muslim Achievements in Science. Week of 10/8-10/12
Between A.D. 800 and 875, many ancient Greek texts were translated into Arabic, allowing Muslim scholars to study the works of thinkers such as Euclid and Ptolemy. Muslim scholars used these texts to advance their own scientific inquiries, particularly in astronomy. In the 1200s and 1300s, three astronomers—‘Urdi, Tusi, and Shirazi—completed studies that Copernicus, a European astronomer, technically duplicated some two centuries later. Modern-day astronomers call these Muslim thinkers the Maragha astronomers after an observatory in the Iranian city of the same name. Maragha Observatory Q: What role might the Greek texts have played in the development of Muslim science?
