(c) The standard deviation of finishing time is greater for women than for men. What does this indicate about the finishing times of the women who ran the marathon compared to the finishing times of the men who ran the marathon?

I had my period exactly 2 weeks ago and it lasted 3 days and was actually really really light and thats compared to my normally light periods. And today, my period started again and its only been two weeks? Is this normal or is there something wrong? If it helps, I’m 16 and started my period at around 13? I don’t know what to do!

so i think i have like 2 small cavities that are going to be filled later and i was wondering if the dentist would use the numbing shot thing for it because the cavity is pretty small. also if they do use the shot does it hurt? im really terrified of needles

so in my outdoor education class, we had to get in groups and build a boat made of cardboard and then we are going to put the boat in a pool and have a race with the other groups. so my group nominated me to be the one to float the boat across the pool because two of the girls are muslim and cant wear a bathing suit and the other girl says that shes going to be on her period and cant go in the pool. but i really don t want to go in the pool and plus i dont even have a bathing suit because its winter rn and all my bathing suits are too small and my parents arent going to buy me another one just for this one time and they say that i have to use my own money and i dont want to use my own money on some stupid project when i didn t even have to be the one to be in the boat. ALSO i have the class first period and dont want to be wet the entire day AND its going to be rainy and cold outside. even though its an indoor pool, i dont wanna be outside soaking wet. but anyways, can the teacher force me to get in the pool? i live in texas btw

Im really scared of needles and once i know when my next doctor appointment is i get so nervous and thad all i think about until the day of the apointment even if its like a month away. is there any way to get over a fear of shots or to make me less nervous or to not make it hurt? for some reason im ok with blod tests tho... maybe bcuz i recently got one and i havent got a shot in like 2 years
