Any good romance movies you can suggest where the man and woman don't like each other at first then fall in love?
I love it too if they knew each other when they were young and they banter back and forth. Some movies that I enjoy: Montana Sky, Flipped, North and South (with Richard Armitage), anything by Jane Austen...
2 AnswersMovies6 years agoAny moms have a baby at Kaiser Permanente (Zion) in San Diego recently?
I would really like a private room. Did you have to share?
I want my husband to be able to stay as much as possible and overnight.
Was your husband able to stay?
What are the birth options? I would like to go as natural as possible for as long as possible (seeing how I handle it). And possibly labor in a tub to help with pressure and then get out to deliver.
Epidurals and ceasareans terrify me unless it's absolutely necessary. Not a fan of needles and definitely not in/near my spine. I've heard of women getting paralyzed temporarily or permanently. Or it not working and numbing one side. Two ladies I know have pain in that area since having it done. Any other good options?
5 AnswersNewborn & Baby7 years agoWhich baby girl names do you like best?
In no particular order the ones my husband and I really love right now are: Victoria, Evangeline, Juliana, and Liliana. Kind of liked Lilah and Therese (pron. teh-rehz) as well. Used to love Ava, Emma, and Jane but we have family members already with those names recently.
Nicknames we like are: Rory and Vi, Evie/Eva, Vivi, Leline, Julie, Lily.
Middle names will either be Marie or Kathrin. Both are family names. Lots of Mary's or Maria's and Marie's in my maternal line and Kathrin is my aunt and best friend's name.
I also had a great-grandmother named Lillian and one of my husband's great-grandmothers was Juliana.
Any other suggestions? I tend to love very feminine French, English, Greek, and Spanish names.
6 AnswersBaby Names7 years agoWhat are some inspiring, beautiful Roman Catholic (Latin/English) songs I could use for my wedding?
I'm having a very traditional Mass and would like a mix of Latin and English. I'm unsure how much Latin and English I should use and for which parts. And if for example the Kyrie I can have a version where it's a mix without it being too long with it mixed. I'm having an organist, harp, trumpets, and choir from a neighboring Latin mass church sing.
Some songs I'm considering:
adoremus in aeternum
o bone Jesu
Kyrie eleison - George Fenton (as heard in the movie Ever After)
Christus Vincit - Joseph Noyon
Mary, the dawn
St. Patrick's Breastplate
The Lord is my Shepherd
Tota Pulchra est Maria (Antiphon) or
Ave Maria Virgo Serena - Josquin des Prez ( for flowers for Mary)
I also need help for processional/recessional ideas but something not heard very often yet beautiful
Also, my fiance converted but his family is Presbyterian and we will have programs for guests but I was thinking of some songs they may know but will still fit the wedding?
Thanks!
1 AnswerLanguages1 decade agoWhat is the difference between a diamond white and white color choice for a wedding veil?
I'm choosing a cathedral length lace mantilla-style veil with pearls and beading etc.
1 AnswerFashion & Accessories1 decade agoAnybody know what the old school play doh or clay is called that's rust-colored and has a unique smell?
When I was in kindergarten in the late 80's we had rust-colored, probably all-natural, doh to play with. Also, a neighbor kid friend of mine had some...
I would like to make it/buy it for my kids some day and I used to like the way it smelled hahaha
2 AnswersHobbies & Crafts1 decade agoHow should I monogram my bridal veil?
My new last name initial?
My new 3 initials?
Or my first name initial, new last name initial, and husband's first name initial?
3 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoWhere is a good site with beautiful mantilla cathedral length veils? My dress is satin with crystals?
I want to monogram my last name married initial or my 3 new initials near the center bottom.
Thinking I want lace edging with maybe some crystals
3 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoAnyone know where I can get wedding favors that some or all of my money spent will go to a charity?
I would prefer a Catholic or some other christian charity, but almost any charity would do. Like a hospital or something family related...
I know St. Jude's Hospital did some candles for a while but I don't see them anymore. They just have scrolls, but I'd like something my guests can actually take home and use. (like a candle)
5 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoFirst dance wedding song for high school sweethearts?
I have several choices, two of the songs were played at friends weddings though. They didn't know I was planning on having them... So I don't know if I should still use them. I mostly like country. Thx!
The two songs I wanted are:
My Best Friend - Tim McGraw
Making Memories of Us - Keith Urban
I'm using Alan Jackson's "Remember When" for parents/grandparents dance and I'm dedicating "The Woman in Me" by Shania Twain to my husband.
