  • Sickness after eating in the morning?

For as long as I can remember, every time I eat in the morning, seemingly regardless of what exactly it is I eat, I get very nauseated and usually vomit. If I don't vomit by the time I get into work, I usually feel fine for the rest of the day. Many people, medical professionals and otherwise, have suggested anxiety (a known existing problem for me) but that doesn't seem to be the case. If anyone doesn't realize, I am male, so pregnancy induced morning sickness does not apply. Because of this, I generally don't eat breakfast, so it's affecting my health and work productivity. Please help!

  • Car running loud in park?

I have a 2003 Pontiac Vibe(I know, first mistake), and for the past few days it's been quite loud in park, but sounds normal in any other gear. The catalytic converter needs replaced (according to an OBDII code), but the sound is coming from under the hood. It sounds like the engine is revving, but the TPS doesn't move. Does anyone have any insight?

  • Raised Basement Subfloor/Platform?

I want to build a temporary bedroom in my basement, but I want the floor to be a couple of inches off the concrete floor. Does anyone know the best way of going about this, or know of what dimensions would be best if used?

  • Furnace Blowing Cold Air (Intermittent)?

My furnace seems to be blowing cold air. The house stays at a constant 72 degrees (what it's set at), but I'm afraid that the unit may be in need of repair or replacement, or that it might be using more energy than necessary. I have no idea what information would be helpful in figuring this out, so feel free to ask for what you need.

Thank you very much in advance.

  • Problem with my riding lawn mower?

I have a Yard Machine tractor mower, model number 13AN772G000. It cuts fine, and drives like it should, the problem is that I can't do both at the same time. If you're driving it and engage the cutting deck, it just stops. The engine continues to run, but yo get nothing. The last time I used it before it started doing this, I hit a reasonably sized stick. It banged around for a second and then it was fine, and continued to cut the rest of the yard. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this? I can't afford to take it to a shop or buy a new one, and my back can't afford to cut the entirety of the lawn with the push mower. Please help.

  • What is this cable for?

I was going through a box of wires, cables and the like and found a 9-pin female (serial) to 1/8" male with a ferrite choke on the male end. Now, I can't for the life of me remember what this is for. Does anyone know?

  • What is the name of this book!?

It's quite vague, but if I remember correctly this was a somewhat popular book. All I can remember about it is that there are 2 brothers whose mom or dad has health problems. Also, the one brother is underage, but because of how well he plays pool, he is allowed in a certain hall with his older brother. Please help!

  • Power Steering Problem?

I have a 96 Oldsmobile Ciera SL sedan. I have a power steering leak, either in the high pressure hose or the return, I do not know which it is, but I can see the leak. But to be able to replace the hose, I need to get the old one off. The problem is that the fitting is on at such an angle that i cannot remove it. Penetrating oil and a flare nut wrench would be my first choice, but you cannot fit any regular tool down in the nook. Is there maybe a special tool used for this, or would I need to remove the obstructing parts?

  • Black ant that induces sickness?

My Spanish teacher today told us about a time she was in some Spanish-speaking country, and was on a temple. She saw an ant and was pointing to it when a guide advised her not to touch it.

Anyways, my question is, What kind of ant is it? I'm not sure what country. All i know is that it has large pinchers, when it pinches or bites you, it hurts extremely bad for days, and makes you very sick.

Any answers would be a tremendous help!
