So I have an '02 ranger with roughly 173k miles on it. Personally owned it for 5 years now with no major issues. It's been well taken care of and oil/fluids are routinely kept up with. I may need to take an 11 hour drive later this week with it and I want the opinion of some folks with more car knowledge than me. The check engine light has been coming on randomly for a couple years but it usually goes off on its own after a day or so. The biggest issue is skipping or hard shifting when I go to accelerate. Sometimes I can be going as low as 45 trying to accelerate or most frequently 70-75 on the interstate. It almost feels like the gear is sticking and takes several seconds to actually make the shift. This has been an issue for a couple years now and we have fixed various things that could be related to it like spark plugs or filters. I feel like it's a trans issue but I don't really know anything about cars. Some people have told me it is the trans but others don't think it is and whenever it's been at the shop for those minor things no one has said that it's the trans. It made a 7 hour drive and back with this issue, and several two hour drives. Basically I am wondering if it's probably reliable enough to make the 11 hour trip? Other than the shifting issue it's been a very reliable vehicle.

I am mailing invitations and am sending one to a house in my neighborhood. The mailman reaches my home before they go to the recipient s, so I was wondering once they pick the invite up from my mailbox, do they have to still take it to the post office before they can drop it off at the recipient s house or once they see it is for a house on their way can they just put it in their mailbox without it being postmarked?

God has blessed someone on my heart for a while now where I am concerned about their salvation. I don't need advice on how to get them saved, I already see God working on that. I just want any songs that describe my situation and desire for this person to be saved.

What are some offensive or insulting terms used to describe a person from the Northern United States who is married to a person from the Southern United States? I know someone who is from the north and he has been married to a southern woman for several years now..I remember him talking about it and how he has been called several different things, mainly by people in the south, for being married to a southerner. Just wondering about some of the terms out there that may describe someone like him. I'm not going to use any of them to offend him or anyone else, I am just being curious about it.

Preferably rings for girls. Specifically if you know of any purity rings that say "True Love Waits" AND have a celtic design on them and are for girls...but if you cannot possibly find any that fit all of those categories then any purity ring with a celtic design on it for girls would be fine. Like, I just recently got into the FIFA series, and I have had FIFA 10 for a while and really enjoyed having the virtual pro feature to where you could customize the appearance of your player, etc. I do not have any experience with FIFA 11, so I am not sure that that feature is a popular one that they always include in the FIFA games, or if it was only in FIFA 10, and so I was wanting to know if FIFA 12 will have a virtual pro feature to where you can still customize players' info and appearance, etc?

I've seen some really cool items on eBay, and I know that several different retail stores sell eBay gift cards. I was wondering though, if GameStop stores sell them as well? I've been to Gamestop several times and have always noticed the little card rack they have with cards for iTunes, Club Penguin, etc. But I can't recall if they sell eBay gift cards?

I'm looking for a type of online photo editing website or program that will cartoonize your photos, but if you are cartoonizing photo a that contains a face, will allow you to place the cartoonized version of the face into a type of "cutout" that will make it look like the person w/ the cartoonized face is giving the peace sign, thumbs up, etc?

If you trade in something, say, a Nintendo DSi, but you bought it from them, will Gamestop give you the amount in cash if you have the receipt for it?

Trade-ins only give you store credit, and no cash, correct?

I have Sims 2 Apartment Life for my PC and it never worked from the get-go, and I am going through all of my games and will be trading in any that I don't want, and came across that one, and was wondering if Gamestop would take it? If they did take it would I still get points for it if I have a Gamestop PowerUp card?

I would prefer songs with lyrics like the ones in "Bullet With A Name" by Nonpoint. I would prefer rock songs, and if they are screamo I would prefer they be only slightly screamo (meaning they sing most of the song and only scream the minority of it). Metal songs are also okay as long as they aren't extremely loud.

Okay, well I have this stupid crazy teacher and she gave us a certain little assignment over spring break. And if I go ahead and explain the topic it will make sense because you'll think "you're kidding right?" but I'm serious as heck. We have to write a short story on two Easter-related animals (well two short stories, one on each animal. she said don't like be comparing and contrasting them like that just to have two seperate papers one for each) and why they are the most adorable. And she assigned everybody two animals randomly, and I got stuck with a yellow chick and a blue chick. (blue chick? wth? well, I guess it's better than a couple of the others) And she said that if we don't do it or don't ace it then it is going to count as a test grade. She said she wants to see how we've improved on our creative writing skills (hardly anyone has) but still wants us to have fun while doing it but I can't think of anything. My mind is just like blank. So yeah if you are a really creative writer that can write about anything really and spice it up so that it's a 100 please help me out here.

It was the episode "Halloween" from Season 1 where Eric has the flashback from when he is in the 5th grade and he gets into a fight over a Davy Crockett coonskin cap. There is another scene where Eric is going through his old elementary school yearbook and he sees his old 5th grade photo. Okay, so I was listening to local radio station 106.1 the other day and they played a song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers that I have been trying forever to find the name. And of course they didn't say the name of it (radio stations never do anymore). The opening verses went something like this:

"I went down to Mississippi

My father is a (something, I don't remember)

Your mother is a hippie"

That's all I remember as far as lyrics go. I remember how the rhythm of the chorus went, but not the lyrics to it.

Okay, well, I have a miniature poodle male, and ever since I got him I've had problems with him disobeying me, licking all over me, and jumping on me. If I squat down next to him, he puts his paws on my chest and licks my face, my hand if I try to pet him, and my neck. And if I go into the gated area I keep him in, he jumps on me over and over and with the weather we've had lately, his feet are wet and dirty, which messes up my clothing. If you have any ideas or tips on what I should do to train him to not lick like he does (I'm okay if it's just a little bit but he does it obsessively) and jump on me, I would greatly appreciate it if you shared them with me.

I'm doing a project for school where we have to choose an organism for each kingdom (Animalia, Plantae, Fungi, Bacteria, etc) and part of it is that we have to list the kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species of each organism and include a pic of the organism. I've found the other classification levels for the yellow day lily, but I can't find the phylum or class for it anywhere. I've googled it several times, using different keywords and all that, but still nothing. So if you know what they are let me know. Thanks

I'm in particular looking for the sheet music for Michael Jackson's "Beat It", but any site that has famous songs like that would work. I tried googling it, but the websites I found only has classic songs by composers like Foster and Beethoven. So, if you know of any websites that have sheet music for today's music for the guitar please answer.
