Why aren't there more hamster vets?
I hate how I have to drive a couple hours away to have a vet treat my hamster. Shouldn't vets specialize more than just cats and dogs?

Is my hamster dying of old age? I saw a dry red scab like patch on her front left paw midday yesterday.Since 10am today,it seems she's dying?
She was full grown when we got her, but Pet smart didn't have her age cuz her previous owner left her there. That was last October of 2014 when we got her.
Within the past week, she's had trouble climbing up her slide. When she goes down she sort of falls down. I thought it was her being lazy because we lost the top of her ball. Right now I have her in her house in her cage. In front of the window. She won't eat and she can barely scratch herself. She's just laying down and her eyes are kind of bugged out. She can't walk. She's laying on her side and moving her head or legs every now and then. She can't walk. I feel bad cuz she's trying to scratch herself but she can't. There's a red mark on her front left leg on the inside part. She won't drink water either. She lost fur from legs and lower area. She's been like that since about almost 10 this morning. Only yesterday did I notice the red scar like area on her front left leg because my mom had just bought her a new ball and new food. My mom thinks there's nothing the vet can do but I wonder if it's an infection or something. Maybe they can help or at least explain the problem. Thanks for your help in advance. It's 3:30 and my mom put neosporn on the scab a couple minutes ago. (I already checked on here to see if I could apply neosporn). She's been like in the pic all day & only today. Yesterday she was running around on the bed and now she's sort of paralyzed. She used to climb the cage a lot. She keeps 'flexing' her body.

I left her in her usual environmemt- wood shavings bedding, house and cage. By the window. I tried to put more shavings next to her in her house but she started moving and her eyes bulged more. Is it just the end or does she just not want the bedding? She can't move or walk or even scratch herself so I'm not sure. It's been about 4 hours since I noticed how weird she was acting. Since this morning. At at 10:00 and now it's 2:32. How can I make her more comfortable. She's a dwarf hamster who's already an adult. She's laying on her side and eyes bulged out. I noticed a red patch on her leg yesterday but there's no nearby vet. Her food bowl is still in her cage and so is the water. Can she even sleep? There's no nearby vet. The nearest vet for hamsters is an hour or two away. My mom doesn't think they'd help anyway. Can a dogpound put her down so she won't suffer? I don't know what to do. I hate seeing her like this

How can I convince my friend to believe in those things. She 'believes' in God I think but she doesn't believe in anything that comes with him. Her mom is baptist but doesn't go to church. She reads her bible. I think maybe it's because her mom didn't encourage her to believe in God. Sgesays there's nothing wrong with sec, everyone lies, and gay people are in love so God must be wrong

People have called the people from central America afro-latino/hispanic. Why can't they just be called black or central American? When you refer to white people you refer to white people, they refer to all the pale faced people?
