  • How can I see a shooting star?

I would love to see a shooting star, how can I? I've stared at the sky for hours, but I've never seen one. Are there any places I can go (bearing in mind I live in the UK) or sometime I can look at the sky?

  • Please help, my Cat has killed a duck, what should I do?

My cat has just killed a duck, we have a river at the bottom of the garden and my cat regularly catches and kills ducks, although they are rarely brought back alive.

Its neck is visibly injured, but it doesn't seem to have lost that much blood. It crawled out the box my mum put it into and crawled behind my brothers guitar. It is still visibly conscious.

We don't know what to do, as it seems really injured and although it is conscious, it doesn't seem like its going to live much longer, but I don't know. No vets are open as its sunday. What should I do? Neither me or my mum want to kill it, and are reluctant to throw it over the fence into the river behind for obvious reasons.

I'm in a complete state, what should I do??

  • How can I stop my cat killing without a collar and bell?

My cat, like most cats often kills mice and birds. Although I don't like it, obviously its in cats nature so I generally let him get on with it. However, we live near a river and last spring he started killing ducklings. This was extremely upsetting and I'm worried that as spring approaches I worried he might start again.

My immediate thought was to put a collar with a bell on him, but i've heard that collar's can be dangerous for cats that climb trees, in case they fall and the colla get's caught.

Any advice as to how I can stop my cat killing?

  • Why do you love To Kill a Mockingbird?

Maybe you don't love it, if so why. Personally I love it, and as I'm doing it for GCSE it would be interesting to learn different people's opinions and thoughts :)

  • What is the christian reaction to homosexuality?

I was just wondering, I mean I understand that there is a generally negative view of it in the church but I was also wondering-

If christians believe that God created everything, or at least had some part in design, where do they believe homosexuality came from? If everything on earth was created by god, than how can it be 'wrong'?

Does it stem from the idea of freewill? Or is it simply a blip?

Please don't feel I am in anyway attacking christian beliefs. I went to a Church of England school and was raised to respect all religions and beliefs. I was simply wondering about this, and feel it would be better to get first hand knowledge from christians than to simply devise my own assumptions.

I also have a lot of gay friends and so therefore would prefer no hurtful comments please.

  • I am in a massive panic please help!?

I have all these exams at the moment, some are just mocks but some are real GCSE's and they're all really stressing me out.

I find that I'm just completely drained at the moment and I'm really sad about it. I know I'm being silly but I just can't get over it.

I feel quite often that I just want to burst into tears all the time, which I've actually done on several occasions over stupid silly little things.

I have a bunch of amazing friends, and they're always really nice about it, but I'm starting to think they're beginning to get annoyed with me and my constant complaining problems. None of them have mentioned anything because they're all lovely but if I knew someone who was behaving annoyingly depressed, I would start to become annoyed.

I'm only 14 and I don't know what to do, I'm just completely stressed at the moment!

    Please help

I also went to an open evening at another college and it was really impressive, yet they don't do the IB.

Please help me i'm a bit confused.
