Recent break up with girlfriend and we're talking about getting/staying together but she wants gestures and effort shown that I am serious. Honestly, I'm lost. She's hesitant to hang out til she sees something but I just don't know what to do to show this.

I closed on my condo on March 17, 2009; now the IRS is saying I bought it before April 9, 2008. This is blatantly wrong. Is it just as easy to send them all the paperwork and get this mess straightened out?

I'm going to the Mets vs. Braves game next month... and I'm a Braves fan. I want to wear my jersey but my seats are behind the Mets dugout.

Question is, how tolerant are Mets fans? I know they're not as bad as Yankees fans, I was at the Mets/Yanks game a days ago and people were throwing stuff at Mets fans.

I'm selling my car and it has a lien, so I'm going to pay it off first, but would like to know what kind of turn-around the CT DMV has once I mail my lien release to them. Thanks.

A little over 2 months my boss came to me and asked if I was interested in going to another department as they are interested in me. I said yes, this is a position I would love.

I understand that they might need to wait until my position is filled to let me go to the other one, but there seems to be nobody being sought after and there is no communication with me with the status of this move. They are ready for me in the other dept. but my boss seems to want to keep me around. I have asked several times what the story is and I have gotten the run around. Asking more will agitate them and I am at my wits end about this.

This is completely unprofessional and I'm fed up, but I would love this new job. Any insight is welcome, I'm ready to quit!
