  • Where can you get a Flip Mino HD video camera repaired?

We have videos of my wife's deceased mother on this camera, but it suddenly just stopped working before we could upload the videos to a computer. We tried the trick with the paper clip stuck in the hole in the bottom of the camera (found out about this online), but the camera still would not work. Does anyone know of any places such as maybe Radio Shack, Best Buy, or other places that could fix this camera so we could get these videos from it?

  • Has anyone else experienced being too warm sometimes?

It's been like this for a few years now (middle-aged male). Even if I have just taken a shower a few hours ago, I often feel too warm prior to going to bed and even have to wash off with a cold wash cloth many nights right before bed. It is like this regardless of the season also, but is a bit worse in warmer weather... however, I still often have to wash off right before bed even if it is around 20 degrees outside in the Winter. Just feels almost like you feel after you stop sweating and the sweat has dried or something like that... like you are sticky-feeling. I have to wash off before bed or I am so warm I cannot sleep comfortably, especially around the rib areas, the arms, and the face. Thanks.

  • How do you EFFECTIVELY and SUCCESSFULLY discipline a 3- to 4-year-old child in this situation?

    1. Child MUST leave with you but does not want to leave and throws a fit and does not want to get in the car or his/her car seat.

    2. Child continues throwing a fit and even attempts to hit you, scratch you, bite you, etc. after you finally get him/her into the car seat and screams at you the whole time.

    3. Child continues crying/screaming and even kicks the back of driver's seat after you sit down to start driving.

Anyone who knows an effective, non-violent solution for this type of behavior is appreciated.

  • What would be the (legal) recourse for an employee in this situation?

    1. Employee smokes cigarettes.

    2. Employee's company does not allow smoking in the building.

    3. You go in the restroom and another employee says he/she smells cigarette smoke even though you are not smoking (apparently the employee doesn't like smokers).

    4. The employee who said he/she smelled cigarette smoke alerts a boss, who then alerts a manger who comes into the restroom and also says he/she smells cigarette smoke... once again, even though you weren't smoking.

    5. You are falsely accused of smoking on the job and lose your job because of these false accusations.

  • Are there any rechargeable RIDING lawn mowers available anywhere?

So far, all I've seen are these little 15"-20" rechargeable push mowers (the battery-powered ones, not the corded ones), so I was wondering if there are any riding lawn mowers with batteries that can be recharged (I know there are rechargeable forklifts, so I would think there would be a rechargeable riding mower somewhere). If there are any of these, where can I find them and how much do they cost?

  • Who should I contact to get speed bumps put on our road?

Our road is about 1/3 of a mile long, and is a straight road. The speed limit on this road is 25 m.p.h., yet some seem to think it's a drag strip and will do 55-60 m.p.h. on it. Several people, including myself and my spouse, like to walk on this road (for exercise, walking the dog, etc.), and the police are rarely around when people are driving so fast here, so I think it's time more drastic measures (a couple of speed bumps being put on the road) are implemented.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHO TO CONTACT, PLEASE DO NOT BOTHER ANSWERING. THANKS.

  • Why don't they just do a vasectomy on male dogs instead of neutering them?

PLEASE ONLY VETERINARIANS OR VETERINARIAN ASSISTANTS ANSWER THIS (AND ONLY IF YOU KNOW THE ANSWER). No need for answers from those bored people with thousands of useless answers just trying to get points because they're addicted to this site or whatever.

  • Anyone had a similar problem with a 1998 Saturn SL2?

My dad owns a 98 Saturn SL2 with about 92,000 miles on it. A while back he checked the oil and it was almost all gone (he had just recently changed the oil). He took it to a Saturn dealership and they don't seem to know what's wrong either, but they did confirm that it was almost completely out of oil.

Now, he checks the oil about every 1,000 miles and it shows up about a 1/2-quart low every time. It's almost like the oil is just disappearing. By the way, NO OIL LEAKS WERE FOUND by the people at the Saturn dealership. Does anyone know what could be causing this, or why a car (especially a Saturn) with only 92,000 miles on it would be using so much oil? Thanks.

NOTE: If you are one of the people here who "fly by" with short, irrelevant answers just to get points (why I don't know), please don't bother or you may be reported for abuse.

  • Anyone know a good organic (all natural - no chemicals) skin cream for dry skin that is not very expensive?

Once again, it must have NO CHEMICALS. It also must be affordable (not something like $15 for 3 oz., but maybe no more than $1 per ounce). In addition, I am NOT interested in something that can only be purchased on the internet, but would like something you can buy either in a regular store or an organic store.

NOTE: If you do not know an answer for what I'm looking for, don't answer. It's that simple (unless you wish to be reported for abuse).

  • What is a good, all-natural skin cream for dry skin that isn't too expensive?

By "all-natural" I mean NO CHEMICALS AT ALL. I'm asking for my mother because she has been using skin creams with chemicals in them for years and I want to find her at least one that doesn't have any chemicals in it, and one that doesn't cost a fortune to purchase either.

  • Is it against the law to put an offensive picture, statue, etc. on your house or in your yard?

For example, if someone put a large picture of a nude woman on their house, or even something like a rebel flag, would this be against the law or would it be considered free speech, etc. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE TIME ANSWERING UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY KNOW THE ANSWER.

  • Can both rear passenger seats in a 1995 Ford Windstar be removed, or just the very back seat?

We got the very back seat out, but are wondering if the other back passenger seat (the one right behind the front seats) can be removed. Just wondering because we can just barely get our bicycles (a 10-speed bike and a 12-speed bike) in the back with just the one seat out.

  • How do you know how much shipping to charge buyers on Ebay and where do you get boxes to ship large items in?

How do you know what to charge for shipping and does UPS provide boxes to ship larger items in (like musical instruments, televisions, etc.), do you have to buy boxes or find them yourself, or what? I have never sold anything on an auction site yet so I really don't know much about how it works. Any information you can provide is appreciated.

  • Are there any CD-R's you can buy that hold more than 80 minutes of music?

If these longer CD-R's are available, please tell me what kind they are (the name brand, etc.), how long they are, and where I can buy them. Thanks.

  • Why do those in the atheist religion pretend to know that which they cannot possibly know?

If you argue with an atheist, he or she will say "there is no God," yet cannot prove that there is no God. Why can't they just honestly say "I don't know if there is a God or not, but right now I don't believe there is a God?" I mean, are atheists so stubborn that they don't realize that they can't say something is or is not so without 100% proof? Don't they know that many people who believe in God are just as educated or even more educated than they are? Besides, aren't they just atheists because it makes it much easier for them if they should lie, cheat, steal, etc.?

  • What is music compression?

If you perform, record, and mix your own music, what does it mean when it is compressed? I have heard that there are also machines you can buy that compress music. If I remember right, compressing the music has something to do with making the lower, softer sounds louder and the louder, stronger sounds softer, but I'm not really sure. Can anyone please explain this to me and how I might do this for my own songs after recording them? Also, is it really necessary?

  • Why does a new window that says "Monitor" open when I go into Yahoo Games?

It didn't used to come up, but has been there every time I log into Yahoo Games over the past 1-2 weeks. Does anyone know why it comes up like a pop-up window when I log into Yahoo Games now?
