  • My hamstring and gluteus keeps tightening up on me every time I work legs?

So basically I suffer from chicken leg syndrome and want to work out my legs often with weight lifting to pack on some muscle and also gain strength and agility for sports.

The only problem is, every time I do squats, dead lifts, or lunges, the area where the hamstring and gluteus muscles meet gets super tight and sometimes even feels like I pull it unless I stretch it IMMEDIATELY. It has gotten better as of late but that's because I'm constantly using a roller to roll out my leg after every set. This is really time consuming and annoying.

I have no problems with aerobic exercise when it comes to this muscle group. I stretch before and after every routine. My squats and dead lifts are at 95 lbs (I know). Anybody know anything I can do to make this issue disappear or at least lessen?

  • Why do I always blank out when I'm asked a question?

This is really affecting my grades. When I study material and feel I understand it well it's all fine and dandy. Then when I'm asked a question whether it's on a written test or oral response my mind goes blank and I have a hard time even forming sentences that are relevant to the material at hand. My grades have taken a turn for the worst and my problem may even lead me to be held back a grade. While I'm studying I have an extremely short attention span like when I'm reading a paragraph I have to read it over and over again to barely get an idea of what it's talking about. I am a sophomore girl in high school, any advice would help!!

  • My motorcycle's odometer racks up a lot more miles than I actually drive?

Recently I just noticed that my yamaha yz600r has been racking up miles a lot. It's ridiculous how bad the ratio of miles added on the odometer to miles actually driven is. I can drive from one stoplight to the next and it will add a mile. My bike already has 33,000 miles on it which is a lot, so I really need to fix this problem to prevent further depreciation of the bike because I do plan on selling it in the near future. Do I HAVE to take it to a mechanic because after my recent visits they have done very little to gain my trust considering it actually runs worse than before I gave it to them to service. Is there anything I can do to fix it myself? or should I just sell it as soon as possible in the hopes of the buyer not noticing the odometer problem

  • How important is it that I get my motorcycles carbs cleaned and should I replace the air filter?

I just got my bike a full service and its going to cost me about 800 dollars and now they called me and said my carbs are really dirty and my air filter needs to be replaced and the total cost will then be about 1300 dollars. I really don't have this kind of money to spend, so I was wondering if it really is that important to get them cleaned and if it is, is it simple enough to do the cleaning and filter replacement myself. I have no experience in any type of automotive repair.
