I have no fear of hell.  It doesn't bother me.  I think ceasing to exist is much much worse.

I applied for SSDI in October 2018 and it is still in the first processing stage.  I recently read that dependents can be eligible for benefits (I am married with four children under age 18).  Do I need to apply separately for them or will it just be included with my original application?/When is the appropriate time to apply for dependents?

Do companies at times, for instance, do two secondary stock offerings within the span of a month or two?

Do they ever do an offering this month, then do it again next month? If you have examples that would be helpfull.

These statements are contradictory. Either it dies within hours (and you need to kill any in the mask) or it doesn't. Any help is appreciated.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with this feature, how it works and if you are able to get the hard to borrow stocks when you want them?

I currently use Interactive Brokers (also have smaller accounts with TDAmeritrade and Firstrade).  TDAmeritrade and Firstrade are virtually worthless unless the company is large with a huge number of shares.

IB is good, but orders often come up with no shares available and that they'll attempt to locate.  Sometimes they do locate later.

I've been looking at alternatives for the times when IB doesn't have borrows.  I actually would give TradeZero a go, but since I'm American it is a no go from the start.

I've heard negatives about SureTrader (call your shorts for no reason, change margin ratios, poor customer service etc...) so I'll stay away from them.

I thought about opening Charles Schwab, Etrade and/or Ally accounts...but I think it will be about the same as TDA.

Center Point and Speed Trader seem like viable options, but it is hard to tell from the outside what they actually have, fees and how it works.  Any input is appreciated.

Also considering Light Speed....they have a new locate feature.

I'm probably missing a lot, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.  

PS.  I am mostly paper trading at this point, won't go live until I have this sort of thing figured out...and even then it will start very very conservatively...so all the comments about how I should get more experience, I'm going to lose money etc. are off topic.

For instance say I have an account of $25k. If I have $25k in Amazon stock, sell it and buy $25k of Apple stock the same day (before the funds from the Amazon stock have settled) do I pay interest on the margin account (of $25k) until the funds are settled from the Amazon trade?

I am not asking about a specific broker, I am researching different brokers and how they work at this point, so a general understanding of this principle is needed (not specifics of a broker or formulas). Thanks.

It is for CCO stock that is moving from its parent (bankrupt) to being its own stock. Symbol isn't changing.

We are California residents and have been staying in California for years. My daughter is thinking about taking a gap year overseas after graduating high school. California residency for in state tuition seems to be that if she was out of the country the year before college she would no longer qualify (although we, the parents, and her as well would still be California residents during this time). Yesterday I noticed she had a lot of discharge. The discharge was greenish in color and had blood in it. I took her in to the vet and she had some more (so the vet was able to see it). The vet said her cervix was open (not sure how much). The mucus had no smell but had some blood in it. Just wondering if anyone has experienced like this before and what the outcome / treatment was. She hasn't had any more discharge in the last 30 hours or so. Thanks :)

They chose a charismatic guy that was up and coming. Why not now? It seems that Hillary Clinton wasn't good enough 7 years ago, why is she good enough now? Brian Schatz, Kirstin Gillibrand, and Chris Coons are all young, capable Senators. Why settle for Hillary and not another President like Obama?
