strange sound in baby?
My baby is 4 weeks old and makes this odd eepp sound. We think she has slient reflux, the dr. said that was the sound when the acid was hitting the vocal cords. Has anyone heard of this? She is gagging and choking during a few feedings, has nasal congestion, freq. hiccups, and coughing. She eats good, and is putting on good weight. The dr. hasn't put her on anything yet, when will she? She doesn't look like she's in pain, and overall a happy baby.

I just got a new pug puppy and we already have an indoor 3 year old declawed cat, who has always been very nervous and scared around things (other people, doorbell, thunder, vaccuum) We've had this puppy a week and the cat is just refusing to get along with him. we have a baby gate on the kitchen so the dog can't roam yet (still housebreaking) and the cat and him will look at each other and the cat will hiss at him and try to swat. but if he's near her without the gate she runs away. the only time she'll be near him is when he's asleep. My question is should I just leave it along and let them work things out, or should I go in a room with the door closed with both of them?
Also, my pug puppy when he goes outside, he trys to eat everything, rocks, leaves, grass, flowers etc. Should I be discouraging this behavior or is it normal? And is it dangerous? Of course I don't let him eat the rocks.
2 AnswersOther - Pets1 decade agoNew puppy with worms?
Hi, I just got a new pug puppy who is 9 weeks old. The guy we got him from never dewormed him. So the first thing I did was took him to the vet and got him dewormed and they gave him a pill also, Advantec I think (preventative for fleas, ticks and heartworms). Anyway, that day he pooed some roundworms ( long thin) And the next day or so he was pooing out clear jelly like mucous. At first I figured it was just the rest of the worms and the diet change. I took a sample of his stool to the vet just to be sure and the vet said he had alot of hookworms in it, so he gave him another pill. That was 2 days ago. My question is he is still pooing out this mucous stuff, less frequent, but he is, is that normal. And are all the worms dead? Since I gave him a treatment before he ever laid foot on my land, is everything he's pooing out dead, or can he be reinfected by stepping on it?

My brother is going into a second marriage, his first ended because they couldn't get along, not adultery, according to the Bible adultery is the only way out of marriage, my question is, he may want me to be in it. To be in it means standing up with them supporting their marriage. Could I do this as a Christian person, or should I not? And if I shouldn't how should I tell him. He is strict southern baptist by the way. And i'm sure he knows this about marriage.
